Best knee brace on the marketI have spent a lot of time money and pain trying and failing to find a knee support that is both supportive and comfortable. That is until I found the Vive hinged brace, it is the perfect combination of rugged support and strength but still comfortable enough to wear all day. I contemplated buying a second but it is durable and washable so, for now I remain a very happy customer. 5This one is awesome as there are velcro straps so I can directly ...Am a 6'4" tall guy, weighing 315 pounds. I got a knee injury when I slipped on the pavement post rains. The doctor prescribed a Hinged Knee brace on detecting mild ligament tear. Other brands have a pull over (like a sock) type brace which I cant wear as they get stuck in Calves. This one is awesome as there are velcro straps so I can directly put it on and off. Wearing it and taking off is easy. Taking off one star as the metal Hinge itself is slightly smooth rotating than another brand, and would have loved a little more tension in it.Overall, its perhaps one of the only braces I can wear, so full thanks to the Manufacturer. 4Great product! Lets me walk without hobbling.*** Update as of Nov 7, 2017. My experience now includes 2 plane trips 16 hours long each way wearing this. No problems. I wore this in a hot tropical climate and I didn't feel it sweaty. It's so comfortable and natural, I forgot to take it off twice before taking a shower. And it's not like I don't need it because, after a few minutes walking without it, my knee lets me know.-------------------------------I don't understand how it works but here's my story. Had knee soreness after golfing on Labor Day. I thought it would go away soon enough. Tried applying different gels. My wife got me a compression sleeve for support on the following Sunday. Wore it for three hours and I think it exacerbated my condition as my knee was in pain and I could not move my leg more than half-inch and that was with pain. Monday, doc gave me 6 day pill regimen which addressed the pain but I was having to use a cane especially up and down stairs.Got it this morning, been wearing it for 3 hours and I don't need my cane to walk around. I bought this from the reviews that said I can wear this all day long. It doesn't feel restrictive or tight but it apparently works since I can walk around without being gingerly or hobbling. 5Excellent.This brace arrived the day after I ordered it. I put it on, and within a few hours the pain that I had been experiencing had disappeared. I have not had anything work as well and as quickly as this, ever. I did not give it 5 stars only for one reason. It is very hard to put this on in a location that does not cause it to pinch on the backside of the Knee. I think that using a soft pad between the back of the Brace and the leg would resolve this. It allows you to kneel and full motion of the knee while providing enough support to keep things in place. 4Don't hesitate in ordering this incredibly affordable product!Finally, RELIEF! My son has had knee problems for 30 years due to a bicycle accident. He's had surgery and has had multiple hinged braces ever since. His old one finally wore out and it was time to replace it. After reading the customer reviews on the VIVE Adjustable Support knee brace I ordered it for him. Requesting "next day delivery", the brace arrived by 10:30 a.m.! He is thrilled with the comfort and ease in putting it on. He would wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone suffering with knee instability. He's paid hundreds of $$$ in the past for braces and says this one is the most comfortable ever. 5Metal inserts give me the support i need at a price too good to believe - but you should!I've reinjured the ligaments in my knee and over the past 18 months have been experiencing increasing pain or taken steps where my knee just gave out. I've been using an elastic brace (which kept rolling down) as well as a strap type that slips plus doesn't seem to provide enough support - even with it on my knee had problems. So I looked at independent reviews for braces for people with previous serious ligament issues and that stayed in place - and this was one of the top on several review sites.It arrived quickly and in great shape. This is my 9th day of wearing it - and I am completely pain free. Would not believe it if I hadn't experienced it myself! I'm back to walking with assurance, trusting that my knee won't give out or emit sharp stabs of pain. I think two main features of this brace are making the big difference: first, it doesn't slip ALL DAY so it stays in place to provide support. Second, since my pain results from sideways movement the removable metal brackets completely prevent that. This product is a real life style changer! 5Light weight easy to useI am quite happy with this product . it is easy to put on and it does provide support. with the brace in place I can navigate steps in a normal manner R-L-R. without it in place I have to move a single step at a time RL RL.I am able to wear the brace under regular Levis 5Great SupportComfortable and straight forward to use. A little bulky but this is due to the articulating side braces that are necessary for lateral movement. I would rate this excellent for knees that are in distress and too much if you only need a little support. 4loses its velcro grip fairly quicklyWorked great for about 4 weeks. Then the velcro lost some sticky and now when I use it when slowly jogging it constantly comes undone. A lot to pay for something that is not going to last very long.UPDATE , its now completely worthless. It slips down, the velco doesn't stay attached anymore, it either falls off completely on its own or actually sticks to your shorts but not the knee brace. 1Gives stability and comfortI rely heavily on product reviews before making a purchase decision. Despite that, I've never written one until now because I usually am buying products with hundreds of reviews alreadyI bought this to try after brace orthopedist recommended did not fit well due to being an in between size they don't make. Orthopedist recommended to look online, but the brace suggested was made by the same company that already didn't fit right.Not wanting to take a chance on that company again (& seeing most of the one star reviews were mainly due to ill fitting despite following manufacture's measuring guidelines), I then looked at dozens of braces and found this one by Vive. Though only few reviews, they were encouraging that this brace could be what I needed. I have torn menisci in 1 knee and feel less stable on stairs and have flare ups of discomfort. This brace has given me the feeling of stability that my knee won't buckle beneath me, and gives me comfort when the knee flares up.I was able to wear it for a 6 hour shift where I spend almost all that time standing. It's easy to put on and though it would be too bulky to wear for Pilates, it's great for wearing through the day at work. I've only used it so far with the removable hinges in the brace.Only additional suggestion I can add is that after wearing for an extended time, I did buy a non-compression undersleeve to use which gives warmth to my leg and added comfort from where the brace is pressed against the leg for hours.Happy I got this and tried it. Gave me the stability and comfort in my knee that I was hoping for at a fraction of the cost of what the orthopedist had and recommended. 5
