How does he love these? Let me count the ways...How does my husband love these? Let me count the ways:He loves them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Also probably elevensies.He loves them in a ziplok on a hike in the park.He loves them right before bed, even though he is about to brush his teeth.He loves them more than any other peanut, except Virginia Diner regular peanuts, which he loves exactly as much as these.He loves them so much that he does not offer them to guests, or even family members.He loves them in such large quantity that we have a subscription.Seriously, if you like Old Bay, this is the way to enjoy it. Large, crunchy, fresh peanuts with just the right seasoning.Of course, if you aren't really in to Old Bay, like me, you'll probably wonder what the fuss is about.5Salty!I love old Bay flavoring, but they amped up the salt more than necessary. The peanuts were awesome though, big, and crunchy.3Yum...Yum...Yum...If you love "Old Bay Seasoning"...you will LOVE these nuts!!!The peanuts are fresh and crunchy and have just the right amount of Old Bay Seasoning.The seasoning is not overpowering and allows you to still taste the peanut.I have consumed both of my 18 ounce containers and plan to reorder more soon!You may think that $ 12.45 is a lot of money for 18 ounces of peanuts...but I nibble on these daily and my 2 containers have lasted me over a month.For me, these peanuts are a great alternative to potato chips and other unhealthy snacks.I happen to love Old Bay Seasoning and these are the first snack I have found that does not use imitation seasoning.Virginia Diner offers many different flavors, so based on how much I enjoyed this flavor, I will be trying those other flavors as well.Once again, if you love Old Bay Seasoning, do not hesitate in ordering this item!!!5Far too salty for meThe good: the peanuts are large and fresh. I love the taste of Old Bay. The bad: these are too salty for me to truly enjoy. I even put them in a colander and tried to shake some of the salt off, but the seasoning is well-adhered to the nuts. I may buy a can of plain unsalted peanuts to mix in and tone the saltiness down.2Very fresh and tastyI really like Virginia Diner unsalted peanuts, so I decided to give this flavor a try. The name "Old Bay" refers to the seasoning of the same name (normally associated with seafood), so if you are familiar with that seasoning you have an idea what to expect. It's nothing like a bay leaf.If you've ever had Nabisco's Doo-Dads snack mix then these peanuts will be familiar to you - they taste almost just like the peanuts in the mix (and if you wanted to make your own Chex party mix, these nuts would be perfect).Like all Virginia Diner products, the nuts come with a foil seal which is tightly depressed because the contents are vacuum packed. When you break the seal, you will hear the air rush in. This type of packaging helps insure the nuts are fresh and crunchy, and they were.The nuts are small, and mostly in halves. There are a few fragments, but not many.5Mini Me'sWe buy Old Bay Seasoning in the commercial Sam's Club size. We use it on fish, meat, deviled eggs, crab cakes, tuna salad, omelettes, it is a larder staple with us. And Virginia Diner Jumbo Peanuts are our go to Happy Hour snack. So these seemed a no brainer. But they weren't. The can was devoid of anything bigger than a broken piece. You know the leftovers at the bottom of the Cherrios box? That is what we got. Bummer.1ExcellentI have never heard of this company, but I have heard of old bay, luv the stuff.So I thought I would give the nuts a try, all I can say is wow, great flavor, just the rite combination of old bay and salt. I actually ordered another can and some other nut from this company. Nuts and Crown Royal, does not get any better.5I Put Old Bay on my Old Bay, y'all.Omg y'all. If you are like me and put Old Bay on your Old Bay, these nuts are for you. I have tried others and been majorly dispppinted. If my hands aren't red, my mind isn't filled with visions of steamed shrimp with drawn butter, and if you can't smell that spicy goodness on me still the next day then there is NOT enough Old Bay on it. These peanuts fit the bill, ya'll. Check out the photo. - you can see the spicy goodness. Better yet, these cans are big - 18 oz full of Old Bay with some peanuts thrown in. Lol.
