Falls apart quicklyI purchased this at the beginning of the summer for my daughter who is a gymnast. By the end of July it had already fallen apart. All of the stitching is gone. I am very disappointed that it did not last longer than that. My daughter needs this for gymnastics because she has issues with her heel, but I cannot see buying a new cheetah heel protector every 6 weeks. I am going to have to search for an alternative that we can actually count on. 1Life & Feet saver!Heel saver! Bone spurs in both heels were becoming extremely painful to the point I couldn't walk and layering socks, wearing shoes or extra padding was not helping. By accident I saw these and decided to give them a try. Best decision I've ever made! Extra cup that came with it helps for really bad days. Definitely a investment worth making I will be purchasing again! 5Saved My Son's Football Season!We bought these for our 12 year old son, because after a growth spurt, he developed a Sever's disease, or something like it. His heels were just killing him whenever he ran at football. He could barely walk from the pain. I figured at this point, anything was worth a try to help him. The first day he wore them to practice, he experienced huge relief! After a month, he was almost pain free. As long as he wears his cheetah to practice, he is fine. His older brother had the same problem, and he outgrew it, but until this guy does, he will wear these every practice. I would recommend these to anyone! In fact, I tell other parents about them all of the time. 5Will Save Your Feet!Where do I begin? I live in New Jersey and have to travel by public transportation to midtown Manhattan M-F for work. That equates to a bus, a train and about a mile of walking daily.This product comes with the protector as pictured and an additional heel cup. I initially never used the cup and would only wear the protector on my foot with the sprained heel tendon. It provided great protection to my heel BUT I was putting so much pressure and weight shift on the other foot that my ankle began to swell on the good foot. Oh gosh Now I wear the protector on the "good" foot and put the heel cup in my sneaker for the damaged heel. Swelling gone, my weight is balanced and my heel pain is diminished! Now it's hot out and I want to wear sandals. Can't wear the heel cup in a sandal So I'll be buying another of these. Saving my feet. God bless this engineering podiatrist! 5Helped my gymnastMy daughter who is a level 7 gymnast started having pain in her heels from hard tumbling. The sports trainer at her gym recommended these for her and they have helped her greatly. They basically are giving her a cushion to la d on she her heel can heal without further damage. They have helped greatly appreciate nd she can tumble without a lot of pain. Even though she only had pain on one foot, she wears two (one on each foot) so that her body is balanced. 5No More Heel PainMy son is a lacrosse player and was suffering from severe heel pain. Normal orthotics weren't helping like we hoped they would. Found these on Amazon and looked at reviews to see what people were saying. Seemed like they were helping kids in many different sports so we gave it a shot.These worked right away. The first few games he played with these, he said he had no more pain. After a few more games he said he had a little bit of pain but nothing like he was experiencing before. These have been a life saver for my son. These are allowing him to play the game he loves with paying for it with terrible pain during and after the games.Only word of warning is that they are sized a little small. So if you order them for your current foot size, they will be a little tight. If you aren't sure or you are close to the upper end of the size range, you may want to order the next size up. They are tight and can be hard to get on. Once they are on though, no more pain. 5Poor Quality; Warranty only 6 Months Not 12 as Stated on AmazonMy son loved this as it helped him tremendously with his heel pain while doing gymnastics. However, it ripped at the seam pretty quickly. And, once I tracked down the manufacturer (not having saved the packaging) they told me the warranty period was only 6 months not one year as it says on the Amazon site. 1My son suffered from Sever's Disease and the doctor recommended that we could spend hundreds of dollars on expensive ...My son suffered from Sever's Disease and the doctor recommended that we could spend hundreds of dollars on expensive custom shoes or we could try this heel protector. Since my son is active in sports and requires several different athletic shoes along with constantly growing feet, this heel protector worked great. The fitted ankle heel protector was amazing; however, I should have purchase (2) because for the second foot there is just a "wedge" so he isn't unsupported with the other foot. This wedge was rather uncomfortable since it wasn't stabilized in the shoe and it often moved around in the shoe. My son is rather picky about how his socks fit his feet; therefore, I would recommend buying (2) fitted ankle heel protectors so both feet feel the same. 4Overpriced but works OK with shoesThe stitching on the heel cup with the material was running off the edge, so it didn't catch in all areas. Rather cheap for the high price. It works OK to alleviate heel pain. I'm not a gymnast so can't comment. I wish they offered two of these in the package. You just get one, and an extra cup that is loose to put in a shoe to keep your legs even. Running barefoot with it on you are forced to buy two products to have even legs. I have worn the extra cup in a sock with birkenstocks on. So that is an option. 3What a relief!My daughter is a power tumbler and has been suffering with Sever's Disease, off and on, for over 2 years. Her coach recommended these and, her feet felt better after wearing them for just one practice! She also wears the extra heel cups in her shoes during the day. We are very happy with these and would recommend them to anyone suffering with heel pain, especially related to Sever's. 5
