Huge tootsie rollsI love,them! It s hard to find the big rolls like long time ago!5After the blast bad review they hadBanks were okay, but the Tootsie Roll's inside were very stale and hard and appeared to have some of the wax coating from the paper on them. Obviously these cases were either very poorly shipped, stored and/or just plain old stock.If I were the manufacturer I would not sell to Carvey Nut and Candy. After the blast bad review they had, I thought they were a clock cleaned up their act by now and tossed out all the bad product they had in their warehouse. Obviously not. If I were to allowed such company to advertise on my premier website, I would also have 2nd thoughts even though we are supposed to have buyer beware mentalities. Too bad, we would've ordered a couple cases a year easily.1OK for my purposeFirst, if you're looking for a bargain, this probably isn't it. I guess I'm living in the past, but paying $1 each for 2.25 oz rolls is ridiculous. (Admittedly, I could have bought a larger box much cheaper from the Candy Store, but I was in a time crunch and needed them quickly, and I didn't need nearly that many.) So....my plan was to use them to build an edible miniature log cabin (I'd tried pretzel rods, and that didn't work well). The Tootsie rolls worked OK, and it was possible to cut them in order to leave an open door and window. Decorator frosting held them together. I kept the cabin refrigerated because the Tootsie Rolls were somewhat sticky at room temperature. Anyway, I have a lot of Tootsie Rolls left over and probably will give them out for Halloween. You don't have to eat an entire bar at a time to fill your mouth with flavorful tootsie roll. Midgrees and similar sizes never worked for me in the same way. The candy arrived on time and well-sealed. All of the bars were in perfect shape and waiting to be devoured.5I am so glad I found these on AmazonYum. I opened the box as soon as I arrived home. I ate a Tootsie Roll immediately. It was fresh and delicious. They are hard to find where I live and are expensive when you do find them. I am so glad I found these on Amazon.5
