Best fit for tendinitis or trigger finger of the thumbFinally, one that really performs as advertised. We had purchased two others whose photos and reviews seemed like they would do the job. One was very awkward and not durable. the second was of good quality but allowed too much movement and kept slipping out of position. This one fits perfectly, is more comfortable and we are going to order another so we can rotate them one for day and one for night.Update: Second one just as good as the first. The first still has no sign of wearing out. 5Not for De QuervainsI have De Quervains. This splint is terrible. It makes my hand go numb. I tried to use it and I kept it on to sleep in it....I woke up 4 times in the middle of the night in terrible pain. I finally ripped it off of my hand..I couldn t take it any longer. I have a bigger splint that is similar to a cast that I will continue to use. I was hoping this one would work because it s smaller but I don t think this splint stabilizes my thumb well enough. This thumb brace might work for whatever you might need it for but if you have De Quervain s I would NOT recommend this brace. 1This brace is perfect. My thumb is fully covered and the positioning ...I tore a ligament in the top joint of my thumb. I've been searching for a brace that goes high enough on my thumb to prevent me from bending the top of my thumb. This brace is perfect. My thumb is fully covered and the positioning on the thumb is fully adjustable (tight or loose). I have tried others that were too tight on my thumb or the metal bar was too hard for my sore and bruised thumb to be up against. This brace is comfortable and allows me to rest the ligaments so they will hopefully heal! 5The Product is EXCELLENT AND SO IS THE PRICE Finally getting some pain Relief !I Promise you WON'T regret buying this thumb splint. Arthritis suffers or young and old gamers that begin to have pain in your thumb knuckles.You will Find that this product is a Miracle Worker .The Product is EXCELLENT AND SO IS THE PRICE 5Works great and comfortable enough to sleep in.I have trigger finger in my thumb joint nearest the thumbnail. Very few splints are long enough in the thumb to keep that knuckle stabilized. This product does that. There are multiple straps to adjust for complete comfort. The metal around the hand is moldeable to make the fit even better than most braces. This brace also does not press on other tendons or ligaments like many braces do. This has greatly helped reduce the pain I experience in the mornings and I recommend it. 4Well made thumb splintLike other reviews I have a declining thumb joint with surgery in the works soon. This gives me support and relief in some activities . I cannot use it riding my bike, lifting weights or cooking or washing dishes. But walking the dogs, shoveling, wheel barrow, grabbing stuff all helpful. Or anytime you just want to protect it from being bumped or resting it. Lots of ways to velcro it in place for maximimum support and comfort. Don't forget once you have figured out best strapping to mold it around your hand to personalize it. Showed it to my hand surgeon yesterday and he approved as well. 5Excellent Fit & Easy to put onPerfect fit for a small hand. Had a larger type that went 1/4 up my arm and it didn't give me enough finger function. This smaller type gives me free finger movement, is comfortable and not heavy weight. Don't know why others are writing it's difficult to put on. Lay brace flat, out thumb into slot & tighten Velcro, then do the same with the wrist part. The third strap goes across the palm and velcros to the top of hand. Easy to put on by yourself & easy to remove. Definitely will recommend to anyone needing a thumb wrap for Trigger Thumb. 5After reading the reviews before I purchased I bought the ...After reading the reviews before I purchased I bought the sml/med. But I wish I would have gotten one size larger. The small/med is a little uncomfortable around the wrist. I think the med/lrg would fit most people as it would be able to be adjusted to your wrist.Since the above review seller has contacted and I must say they have GREAT customer service. If I am ever in need of their prod. again I would not hesitate to purchase from them. 5Support, worth a few bucks but... It s a bit bulky. Has metal support built in to keep your thumb from moving around too much. You have to mold it to your hand once you put it on and makes it difficult to wear a watch comfortably.The Velcro part around the thumb irritates the bottom part of the thumb. I have a 7 wrist and bought the large/XL and fits ok.I do get support and tried wearing it at work but it s uncomfortable because I need to wear gloves for handling hoses and chemicals. I also tried wearing it through the night and thumb felt better when I got up. I suppose that if you aren t using your hands there s nothing to irritate...that, plus you are asleep so you don t really feel it.Do wish it was not so bulky.Design and Velcro around thumb could be better, I think the Velcro in that part is giving way. I keep readjusting it for a better fit.I keep looking for something with a better fit but this will have to do for now. Nobody in here is happy with any of these products.Wish there was an Ace type elastic compression glove with just a little metal support for the thumb. 4Solid and comfortable thumb stabilizationMy thumb was severely sprained with damaged ligaments and needed good stabilization of the lower joint to heal. I tried four thumb splints/braces and this one was BY FAR the best. Very easy to put on and take off and very easy to adjust. High quality. It completely immobilizes my thumb but is comfortable and not cumbersome. If you need solid stabilization of your thumb this is the perfect product. 5
