OmgI recently was diognosed with spondylolisthesis grade 2 and my legs started tingling and going numb I got this today and omg the difference it made was unbelievable I am a cna and thus just saved my job and my back 5GREAT support with EASY to adjust pull for nice and comfortable snug fit.Originally purchased one of these from my Chiropractor several years back. Recently had friend that had back problems and recommended this product, except for almost half the price on Amazon, so I bought a new one that I put inside our Motorhome as a backup. You can buy less expensive braces, but you cannot find one that fits or works as well as this one. The EASY-TO-PULL adjustment ensures you can adjust to YOUR comfort level. GREAT PRODUCT! 5Spine Sport Back BraceI seldom write reviews. But had to share with you that this is the best back brace I have ever worn. It's comfortable to wear all day long when I plan on having to be actively moving while working. It helps when lifting, keeps everything stable. It's lightweight and not cumbersome like other braces I have worn. I can drive a car with it on too. Just put it on and go! It's adjustable too! Bonus! 5Good for Active Sports for those with Bad Lower Backs BUT somewhat UncomfortableI have 3 degenerated disks in my lower back and for years wore prescription back braces in order to manage downhill skiing, snowshoeing, white water rafting and kayaking. When my doctor decided not to write me a script for a replacement brace, I found this one, which generally "matches" that which I'd been getting through my insurance. The only difference - and not a great one for me but might be for others is the rigid hard plastic pieces on either side of the belt as it lays against the spine. I still manage to be fairly comfortable when wearing the brace in my kayak, but I don't think I would want to spend hours in it skiing (something which I've long stopped doing anyway) or snowshoeing - the hard plastic sort of digs into the flesh near the spine. 3BIND ME UP SCOTTYI have been using one of these that was given to me some time ago. I left it in another city by accident and needed another one. I found this one on AMAZON and ordered the XL based on measurements. I should have ordered the Large because the XL wraps around me one and a half times. It is everything the ad says about it. It is surprisingly comfortable. I have used it in very hot conditions doing construction and plumbing outdoors and it has made the difference between going to work and not going to work. 5Lightweight, works. great priceI absolutely love this belt. Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Lightweight. Can adjust to put a hot or cold pack in place. My chiropractor and pain management doctor were impressed as was my Physical Therapist. Even the neurosurgeon I went to liked it and said the one he recommends $1600. Sizing was good. Can be worn under some clothes. This is now my BFF. 5Finally one to wearFinally found one worth wearing! Pain is always there for back sufferers. Braces help us stand straight instead of bent over for relief. Braces many times are a "wash" by which I mean discomfort over being able to stand upright which is in itself painful w/o a brace. This brace is narrow around the front (#1) but still has rigidity on the back. You can bend over still and not suffer the frontal rigidity which is very uncomfortable in itself. I have half dozen and now one I will wear. Thank You (all six lower vertebrae are fused) 5Like an old corset I supposeUpdate: it finally wore out... having said that, In November I. Ended up having l4/l5 fused.. source of my low back pain and instability in same.. here s the funny part.. the dr had me fitted for a brace for post op.. $980 billed to my insurer and it was almost identical to this product! And if only lasted 3 months before cinch broke... I ended up using this brace and it finally failed today... So... take from this review whatever you like. This is an impressive piece and I m reordering.. I ll qualify my review by identifying myself as a chronic pain sufferer with 4 fused cervical, two partially collapsed vertebra in thoracic spine and degenerative disc disease.. I m also active despite my hammered back. So I ve tried tons of gadgets and wraps, belts etc. this simply rocks! I ve literslly had to use 3 different belts to support my spine for awhile after last surgery, these hold and u can get quite a bite from these. Like an old corset I suppose. Id love it if I could find one wider to support more of the spine. As I write this I ve just taken a break before hitting the road again on my Harley. 475 miles-1.5 days and still going... not possible without this stepped securely around my hips waist... long review but I wanted those of u that like me have spent so much money seeking a respite from the pain and loss of enjoyment doing simple things.. u know u r... this has been s blessing.. I m going to order a couple spares just in case. 5Couldn't Be Happier!!I have used several back braces over the past 30 years after surgery to repair four fractures in L4 and L5. Getting older and heavier hasn't been very helpful since the surgery although my stability has been pretty good. Since I'm active doing my own landscaping in Florida all year, I do tend to overdo it on occasion. When I first saw the Cybertech advertised, I realized that it offered the things that I was looking for: lower back support, light weight and the ability to adjust the tension/support.I now own two of these braces, one for when working outside in very hot weather and one for inside when I've overdone it(again) and need to support my back for a few extra days. Taking two Ibuprofen before beginning work outside has also proved to be beneficial. Please check with your physician regarding your personal situation. 5Not for spondylolisthesisI saw this brace on YouTube highly recommended by doctors for my specific back disorder which is spondylolisthesis I wore it for a few minutes and could not tolerate it I even got one larger than was suggested for my size that one fits better as you have more range and flexibility but it still hurt my back The verdict it might be nice for some peoples back disorders but not mine 1
