SQUEAK WITH EVERY STEP! SIZING OFF TOO!Don't buy! They squeak with every step taken. Super annoying! Sizing is off too. Beware! Also no free returns. While not obvious when buying (must be in the small print somewhere - good luck in finding it!); it was made very clear when trying to return. Very disappointed in the "Spenco" brand! 1They work for meI bought these for my trail-running shoes (Saucony Grid Excursion TR10). I have an overpronation issue, and the stock insoles didn't help at all. I've used these just once, and it's clear they make a difference without being obtrusive. The heel cup is just a little high, but not so much that it alter the fit of the shoe. These are not cushioned much, except in the heel, but that's part of the "thin" design, I suppose. These work for me. 5Definitely in top 3 for thin soles in support & comfortThis are a great alternative to Orthotics you pay $500 for from the Doctor. My daughter has med-high arches, but her arches collapsed when she was 8. The same support Spenco Total Support reg insoles, which btw are a great insole also, but fit in low profile shoes. These are good for soccer cleats & other low profile shoes, so your heel does not slip out. While I prefer the Spenco Total Support MAX, they just don't work in every shoe, so that is where these are used & do the job. These also hold up very well for a thin sole, definitely get your $ worth and then some. 5Excellent choice for thinner insolesThese are great! They are definitely thinner than other insoles I've used which makes them more comfortable (no tight shoe laces or having to purchase longer shoe laces nor any shoe tightness on your foot). They work great in my trail running shoes. I have a higher arch and these work well for me. I'm very happy with this purchase! 5Great insolesI have collapsed arches and I use these in my running shoes, soccer cleats and any casual shoes that will fit them. You have to remove the existing insole in your shoe and make sure your shoe has a deep enough heel cup. The thin version is only slightly thinner than the original, but seems to offer about the same amount of support.As far as off-the-shelf insoles go, these are the best I've found. Much cheaper than getting custom ones made. 5Not worth it.I thought this would be like the originals but with a thinner profile but was very wrong. There was absolutely no cushioning on the insole at all. The pods were just there to give the insole shape, not to absorb any sort of impact. And the forefoot padding was paper thin. I used it twice to play sports and my knees and ankle hurt so much afterwards. It s funny that spenco advertises these for athletes. Honestly, these insoles are not much different than the average stock insoles that come with your shoe. Quite disappointing for 30 dollars. 1They will hear you coming!Ninjas and stealth spies, be warned! Comfort wise I have no complaints. I got these to replace my worn out SuperFeet Carbon insoles and think these are comparable in terms of minimal volume and support, at a lower cost. The issue is that they SQUEAK loudly like no other. I have tried multiple shoes with foot powder and/or cooking spray on the underside, without a permanent solution. Each approach tends to temporarily eliminate the squeak for a short amount of time, 30 mins, but then the noise returns with each step. Looks like I will be returning these and going back to the added cost of the SuperFeet Carbon 1Great low-profile arch support; opens new options for shoe-shoppingThese insoles fit great in my retro sneakers and loafers without taking up too much space inside the shoe; they don't feel like they're there at all. They're a little pricey, but the build and materials feel and look like a higher quality than my other insoles. I like that these insoles give me more options for shoe-shopping. As someone who absolutely requires arch support in my footwear I like the option of buying non-athletic shoes based on aesthetics and fit/support instead of fit alone. 5THIN TOTAL SUPPORT is When You Do Not Want to Alter the Volume of the FootwearThis is the thinnest of the Total Support SPENCO product line. It will work in a hiking boot like the SCARPA Kenesis Pro GTX if you want to not modify the boot's toebox volume. However, be aware that this Thin model product uses honeycomb in areas of the ball of foot and heel. Also, the overall support is nowhere near as rigid as that of the Max or Original Total Support or other SPENCO arch support products. My recommendation is to find a local store that carries all the SPENCO product line and select the best product for the need. I am lucky and have that full stocking local store option. The Thin Total Support is best when one specifically needs not to modify the volume of the toebox or fit of the footwear, but needs the cushioning under the ball of foot that the other original SPENCO products do not provide. Otherwise, consider the Original or Max Total Support models. Under hard use, the Thin Total Support is not going to last as long as the Original or the Max Total Support insoles - so be prepared to replace more often. I rate as 4 star only because insoles by their very nature are imperfect - SPENCO could make these larger and allow the customer to trim to fit their footwear. A lot of disappointment with insoles is due to unreasonable expectations - which really is the fault of the original manufacturer for putting a really cheap insole in the shoe in the first place. 4This Thin Full length is great for my Cole Haan slip-on loafers.Great insole support. I looked at this version and the original, but these were a great choice for me. I slipped them into my Cole Haan loafers, size 8. It's an exact fit, with no issues in the heel or toe areas. I was having soreness in ball of my left foot, and after 1 day of using these, my foot is no longer sore. I'm very happy I picked these and the thin version for my loafers. 5
