A little hard to use, but seems to work!It is a bit hard to get on properly - it is not like pulling on a sock as the silicone gel sticks and will not slide over your foot. I put my hand inside and stretch it open up to put my foot in, in about the right place and then work it into position. If I am going to be walking a bit, it really does relieve pressure on my Achilles tendonitis, and I am glad to have it. It is not thick, and does not add appreciable thickness. 4Fantastic!My daughter was having horrible pain while wearing her skates. We kept going to have them refitted, stretched, pounded, you name it. She hadn t changed sizes so I didn t want to buy another pair when she is likely to grow in the next two seconds and they are really expensive. The pro shop manager recommended this product and it completely solved the problem. Worth every penny!! 5Hurting heel spur, No moreI had went to a the doctor about 2 years ago with horrible heel pain. He discovered a heel spur and I got a heel pad from him just like the one I ordered. It made a HUGE difference !!! In time I had to replace it. It was $40.00. This time when I needed a new one I looked online and got the exact same thing for half the price !!! Needless to say I was very happy. I received my order very quickly and will certainly order from them again when I need a replacement. 5For small ankles only!I was looking forward to receiving this product. I have chronic Achilles tendon pain and this looked like a great way to help the problem. I bought a L/XL. I have rather large ankles but not so large as to not fit the supposed size of the "heel pad". When I opened it up I thought it must be a child size. The gel part of the sleeve and the fabric looked really nice, but the band at the top (ankle/lower calf) was tiny! I cannot imagine what a small/medium would be! My husband has small ankles but wouldn't even try it on to check the size, too small for him, too. What's odd is the rest of the piece would have fit. What a shame a good-looking product could be so off on the sizing. 2Literally sagging down my ankle.I'm a small woman, but this would sag on my burly husband. I'll be searching for one where the reviews say it is too tight.Don't buy this. 1ReliefHaving used a similar product myself in the past, I ordered this for a friend with a painful heel spur. He noticed a reduction in discomfort from the first day! It won't "heal" (pardon the pun) the spur, but it can make the pain less burdensome. 5Loved the 1st one we received so ordered 3 moreDaughter has Haglund's Deformity and these help a ton, keeps the bump on the back of her foot from rubbing and getting irritated while training. Loved the 1st one we received so ordered 3 more!!! 5Good for messed up feetAfter developing some bumps on the back of my heels from junk boots I was given these. They helped a good bit and I was able to make due with those boots. Better off buying boots or shoes with more cushioning in the heel though. 5Achilles Heel Pads.I use these because I have Achilles Heel Problem. These were cheaper than getting them at Foot Smart and you can't find these just anywhere so I bought them. Can't wear them with shoes because they do bunch up, but wear them when I sleep and with slippers around the house. 5I've finally found the perfect item to relieve my heel pain!!!Oh My Goodness where do I start!!?? I have bought several items in a quest to heal my heel pain. They ranged from Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Heel Cushions to the very expensive Bauerfeind AchilloTrain Achilles Tendon Support, and a CEP RxOrtho+ Achilles Brace but this Silipos Achilles Heel Pad has been the winner. Along with the Dr. Scholls heel cushion, and the Silipos heel pad, I can exercise with no problems, and my pain has gone away because my shoes are not constantly pressing my heel. It's amazing. I have 2 and if I need more, I will not hesitate to buy more. As much as I wanted the other supports to work (they look so cool too!), they were not covering and protecting my actual heel. The gel pads were higher up to protect the achilles tendon area. I guess I have a Haglunds issue so this is definitely more appropriate. I'm just glad not to have heel pain and have my active life back!!! This is a stocking like material (it doesn't run) so it's light, easy to wear under socks and in shoes. You can also fold it down to hide it under ankle socks. 5
