BEST TEA EVERBEST TEA EVER! this is whole leaf so you will need a method to brew it. I find it s easiest to pour some into my refillable K-cup and brew it into a cup over ice. So simple and yummy! I think this is the same tea that the Cheese Cake Factory serves. Great gift for any tea lover! When I ordered the box of 25 packages last year, I had figured in my head that it would make enough for 25 quarts that I could easily consume in one summer. I'd better use a calculator next time. It makes enough for 25 GALLONS! But I started sharing just a few with friends as little gifts. They all love it as much as I do. And I've found that it wasn't too much at all. I'm down to the last four packages!5No longer the Best tea EVER!I had originally given this a 5-star review. After receiving an order on 1/19/16, this is no longer the best tea ever.I have been drinking Paradise Tea since 1988. It was an independent that was sold to Sara Lee a few years ago and the quality was maintained. However, about two or three years ago it was sold to Smuckers. About then the quality deteriorated. I noticed in the last case I ordered that once it cooled, it would turn a bit cloudy. And when refrigerated, it would turn horribly cloudy. I did some investigating online and one possible factor for cloudiness is poor tea leaf quality.But loving this tea, when I ran out, I ordered another case which arrived 1/19/16. Imagine my shock when I opened it and the packaging change to this garish yellow and the wording was added "Artificially Flavored Tea" in large letters. The original product was 'natural and artificial flavors' so I knew there were some artificial flavors. But what I received beared no resemblance to the item listed.So buyer beware! I am sharing this info and an image of the current product so my fellow Paradise Tea lovers will be warned. I called Amazon and they refunded my full purchase. No need to send it back since its food.------------------------------------My Original 5-Star Review:So I've been drinking this tea ever since it was sold by the small tea company that first introduced it here in Southern California. I've purchased it loose, in the individual tea bags at retail, and by the case in the retail packs. When the retail packs were discontinued, I scrambled to figure out which size to buy and how to make it. I have it down now! Using this product, I make it with seven heaping tablespoons in my 12 cup automatic drip coffee maker. I turn off the coffee maker as soon as it's done and remove the carafe so the tea cools. Once cool, I fill my Starbucks insulated cool up 2/3 with ice, 1/3 with water and then fill to the top with cooled Paradise Tea. The remaining tea goes in a glass carafe in the fridge. This method in the glass carafe is far better than the iced tea makers. If you love this tea, give the loose tea in the drip coffee maker a try. I will advise ordering a second filter basket so your tea does not impart it's flavor to your coffee. (I had to do this.)1Love it. It's just like I remembered from when ...Love it. It's just like I remembered from when used to buy it at Trader Joe's before Lipton (Smuckers) bought the company and stopped selling it to consumers.. I found that 3 tablespoons of leaves in a 2.5 quart pitcher makes great sun tea. There is enough in the box of tea packages to last several years, though I've been giving it away to friends who also missed it. My only complaint is that Smuckers doesn't make it in decaf, like the original, so I have to stop drinking it by 2:00PM if I want to sleep at night.5Packaging has changed, but the tea is still fantastic!This is the best tea. I've purchased the Paradise Tropical Tea since before Sara Lee bought the company (it's now owned by a different company). The box and packaging of the tea is different, but the tea is the same. I would recommend buying an iced tea maker, too!5This is the real deal.If you're looking for the real Tropical Ice Tea that is used in a lot of restaurants like Stonefire Grill and Islands this is the stuff. I gave a bunch of packets to friends who were also looking for it. Purchasing a case is a large investment but easily offset by one dinner at the restaurant.Other reviewers commented that there seem to be two types of tea in circulation--mine arrived in a box of the yellow bags that contain dried tea leaves and what appear to be flowers (see photo). I emptied a few of the bags into an airtight container that I keep on the counter because we make a new batch of tea almost daily, and stored the rest in the pantry.Another reviewer commented on the tea being cloudy--I'm seeing that too, but I might be making it too strong--I use slightly less than 1/3 cup of tea to make 3 gallons of iced tea, using the Mr. Coffee Fresh Iced Tea Maker (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A0IXSU6) and the Brew Rite filters (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HJ9CXK). The resulting tea is strong enough to put over ice without excessive dilution, but maybe slightly bitter.
