Definately buy again, if needed.I had to buy this boot because the one I received from my orthopaedist didn't fit around my calf. I do not have a particularly large calf muscle on the side I needed the booy for, but I guess in relation to my small feet they did not have one to fit. So, I ordered this one. It fits great! Take their advice and measure your foot so you get the most appropriate size. I do have to admit that I liked being able to pick the colour as well. One thing I recommend to everyone who has to wear a boot for a few weeks or more, make sure you add more padding to your heel. It makes walking easier. 5Wrapping you foot in duct tape would work better and cost less. This boot is uncomfortable, it smells, and is a Velcro nightmare. The air pump does not work. RKS Global LLC makes sure it will still make a profit by charging $10 for restocking. If you were crazy enough to take the product out of the package to look at it, chances are you will have then violated the return policy which requires the boot to be returned in the EXACT and immaculate way it was packed. 1Great boot, fast shipping, fair priceI really like this boot. I was having issues with my peroneal tendons and the boot let me finally immobilize the area enough to heal. I've never worn a walker boot before, so I don't know how this product compares to others, but I can't think of anything I would change. Good fit, easy to inflate and deflate, with industrial-strength velcro straps. I expected to have some hot spots until I got the fit right, but it was never an issue. I was also surprised how comfortable the "insole" of the boot is; the ball of my foot is very sensitive, but the boot never bothered it. Sizing was accurate; I wear a women's 11 and got the medium.Walking was a little awkward at first, but now that my foot's (almost) back to normal, I can walk in the boot with a normal gait. The only problems are stairs and inclines; it's hard to negotiate those areas when you can't flex your ankle, and while the rocker sole of the boot helps, it takes some getting used to. Uneven surfaces, like a rutted dirt driveway, are also a little awkward because the rounded edges of the sole can cause you to wobble in unexpected directions. The rounded edges are what make walking so easy on level ground, though, so it's a fair trade-off.The boot is bulkier, heavier, and more clunky than a regular shoe, but it's really not that bad. I didn't feel like I was walking around with a giant balloon on my foot, and I was able to pull most of my pant legs over the outside of the boot instead of tucking them inside. Several of my coworkers didn't notice I had a boot on until they saw me adjusting it. After three weeks of wearing the boot every day, I'm still not having any knee, hip, or back problems, which I've heard other people complain about when wearing walker boots.I paid for the expedited one to three day shipping, and got the boot on the third day. I placed the order at maybe ten p.m., and it shipped at eight the next morning. The package included detailed instructions along with some pads you could use to adjust the fit, which I didn't end up needing. So, no complaints about the company; they seem to care about their product, and from what I've read in other reviews, it sounds like they have good customer service if something goes wrong. In short, I would definitely recommend this boot. I will be hanging onto mine, as it's still in great shape, but I would buy the same one again if I ever needed to. Price was a deciding factor for me, but even if the price crept up a little bit, it would still be a steal. 5Spend the extra money, you will be very glad you didI m 2 weeks in and this thing is holding up very well. I had one of the other brands. With the red pump, and it fell apart after one week. This one the velcro is in great shape. It s lighter than the others and more menueverable and you do t hear Velcro ripping with every step. 5Wish I had this boot last time!I ended up NOT using this boot since it turned out to aggravate my particular ankle injury. But having been in a boot before, for an achilles injury, I know that this boot was way better than the one the hospital gave me that time. This one strapped on better and was much more comfortable, but I will admit I only had this on my leg for a single 4 hr stretch so long term use might expose some discomfort. (But honestly, just about anything you strap on to support an injury becomes aggravating after some period of time no matter what.) Because of the quality and fit I feel this boot has I've kept it 'just in case' for future use and didn't return it. I hope it stays on the shelf though. 4Middle of the road cam bootThis is a boot that wants to be top of line and well thought out - but it doesn't make the cut.The good - materials and assemblyThe bad - straps the grind and make noise while you walk; inner liner that when folded over the foot and leg creat a crease right on the ankle bone and rubs.I want to like this boot. The step is natural and smooth. Air pump works great, and the air valve even swivels out of the way. Materials are not cheap and wears well. Yet the straps are a pain compared to the boots I have used. They hold well, but rather than velcrowing to the plastic brace to stay in position, the straps swish back and forth, and the edges of the straps seal and unseal. Wearing a brace is bad enough, and the noise that draws attention makes it worse. Plus the crease which results from folding over the foot and leg sections can't be solved with inserting additional pads - really hurts the ankle after a day of wear. 3Much lighter and more comfortable. My doctor gave me a $276 heavy, huge boot to use and I switched to this one. It was so much lighter and more comfortable. The only thing I didn't like, is that the air pump is right on top, which landed right where I put my knee on the knee scooter. 4Didn't lastI bought this for a sprained ankle, was suppose to wear it for 2 weeks. After 4 days the velcro no longer sticks. Especially sad when I have a desk job so it's not like I walk 5 miles a day in it. Because of the return policy I am stuck with a boot i can not wear. 1Worthless Junk, Doesn't Inflate After 1 Day Of UseThe inflatable bladder stopped working after 1 day of use. Because deflation valve is completely enclosed in rubber, there was no way to see what's wrong with it. Also, I only wore the boot one week and it's already falling apart. Completely cheap, worthless junk. I had one of their boots before and it lasted 6 weeks and no problems with the inflatable bladder. This one is worthless. 1Nice walker, thin sole easier to walk in than big thick soled walkers.I blew out my achillies and had a very very long recovery. My insurance would only pay for one cam walker boot per year but wearing them 24/7 for almost 3yrs wore out more than one per year. I got this on the suggestion of my physical therapist and it worked nicely. The sole is thinner than most other walkers. It was nice to not have one leg longer than the other. The pump worked fine and overall the boot was pretty comfortable. I picked up some soccer socks to wear under to keep the lining clean plus they added a little compression to keep swelling down somewhat. I'd buy this again although I hope I don't have to. 5
