The pecans themselves arrived whole, and not crumbled into bits. I have not yet encountered a piece of shell, and the taste is worth yet another comment - these are the real thing. These are well-textured, have a mouth exploding flavor, and the texture that one expects from a truly superior pecan.I have not found a pecan that is better than these "Food To Live" pecans. The quality is superb. The purity of the product is not easy to locate, and the flavor is above reproach.I recommend these pecans highly.
