Lyme Approved :)Coming from someone that s dealing with constant knee pain from Lyme disease (and nerve damage)... I ve been thru a few different brands of wraps (Ace included), and they ALL have the same issue...the Velcro tends to wear down the material over time. These are my favorite 6 wraps for my knees. They are long enough to make about 3 1/2 to 4 wraps around my leg, and they are a good thickness so you don t feel like you need to overlap each wrap close together (if that makes sense). 5Exactly what you'd expectBandages came in a nice and durable reusable slide-lock style bag to store them in. They have great elasticity. My legs swell so bad and I use them for compression. My calf blows up to over 30 inches so I have been putting these things to good use and the only negative thing so far is the velcro part. And it's not even really that bad.. The stitching holding the velcro to the bandage tears fairly easily, (as with any bandage during daily use) so make sure you don't just yank at it to take it off. Grab one edge of the velcro and slide one finger along between the bandage and velcro while lifting it off. If I need more I plan to run the ends through the sewing machine to add an extra layer of stitching. I was hesitant to purchase at first because I hate buying stuff without knowing for sure it's what I need first, but I'm glad I made the decision to go ahead and buy them. Makes me wish I didn't wait so long. So if you're debating with yourself, GO FOR IT! They're worth it. Just like what you would expect from a hospital or something. lol 5Same as the ones the hospital used!!I recently had a knee replacement and due to a severe allergic skin reaction (not typical by the way) the surgeon had to use this exact type of elastic bandage. Needless to say after dressing the wounds from the skin reaction everyday, the bandages the doctor gave me had stretched out and we're becoming thread bare. I ordered these and was so pleasantly surprised. They appear to be the same quality (maybe a little better) than what the surgeon was using. So pleased and highly recommend this to anyone but especially if you're looking for a medical grade bandage. 5PerfectAbsolutely perfect for my needs. Very strong Velcro holds bandage securely in place. The width and length are perfect for wrapping absolutely any body part. 5Highly recommended by someone with years of experience.These bandages are great! My 14 year old sustained a tibia, Fibula break on November 18th. After surgery he was wrapped with bandages and a walking boot. Although I thought he would be out of his walking boot sooner, he is still having to wear it. As of January 3rd he still had 8 weeks (at least) in it. Although they said he could wear a sock instead of bandages, he finds the bandages comforting because they are thicker. His old bandages had become pretty ragged so, I needed to purchase more. I found these bandages to be the most economical and prayed they would be good. My son said, WOW! Those bandages from the hospital are like old cloth, these are DADDY MATERIAL! Lol That is 14 year old slang talk meaning, these bandages are thick, strong, and very comfortable. Being an athletetic mother with 2 young athletes, these bandages will be my top choice from now on. 5Does the job nicelyI purchased this product after I had knee replacement surgery and needed more support than the 4" bandage I had on hand provided. The only issue I had with the bandage is that it was not as soft as another ACE bandage I had that came with clips. I like that it didn't need clips and the 6" size gave good support. I solved the softness issue with placing soft gauze over the incision once the surgical bandages were removed. The order came quickly and served the purpose nicely. I would order this again. 4easy to useI bought this item to wrap my leg after a surgery to use with compression stockings. They worked better than I could have imagined. Great stretchy material and the Velcro has a strong grip that held the bandages in place for hours. Also they are very easy to use, no looking for clips or trying to pin them. I even bought a second set for my next surgery so I will have a set to use while the other is in the wash. 5Just what the non-doctor ordered...perfect!The product meet my expectations. It has a good elastic stretch. It has Velcro attached at both ends so there is no need for hooks. It basically is long enough to go like 3 full wraps around the waist area with is perfect. Comfortable too. 5Held in placeI severely popped a hamstring 5 weeks before a trip to the Swiss Alps. I still walk funny. These bandages held it fast and didn't slip that much. Anyone with a hamstring injury knows how much bandages want to slip down to the knee. The photo shows no sign of the bandage after climbing 1000 ft. 3000 ft climbs required a few adjustments over the course of the ascents. The bandage held my noodle muscles in place and allowed me to do much of what I had planned to do in the Alps, albeit at a much slower pace. 5Great Value, Great ProductI sprained my knee working too hard on my exercise bike after having knee replacement surgery and needed to wrap it, on my PT's advice. I tried an Ace with the clips that fell off or stuck my skin, compression wrap for a comparative price, which is really a one-use product, a big black brace that had sharp edged Velcro that dug into my tender flesh, and thought there must be something better. Amazon to the rescue, as usual, and there I found Nexskin! It is soft on the skin, completely adjustable as to position on the leg and the tightness on the leg and so simple to close with a strip of narrow Velcro on each end. Great Value, too. I am grateful! 5
