I liked it!I tend to consider myself a bit of a coffee snob. The thing is, I love coffee, I love grinding my own beans, I love the act of preparing it. The first hint of aroma of that coffee brewing in the morning just makes my day. But, one day I found myself a bit desperate, the weather was bad, and Amazon was all I had to get coffee to my house in time for my desperate need. I happened to see this coffee, and while I normally don't buy ground coffee, the price was right and I got it. I really like this coffee. And no one is more surprised to hear me say this than I am. It has a nice, rich, robust flavor, doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste, and works equally well for cold brew as it does for hot. I'll be buying this again, and I'm going to look for in the whole bean. I'm pleased.5Good StuffIf you like non-burnt coffee that doesn't have the heck roasted out of it, give this a try. It makes a delicious tasting cup of coffee for us non-Starbucks (and you know what I mean) folks. Why do folks equate coffee roasted to death strong as in caffeine content. All it does is release bitter oils and hide lousy coffee beans. New England Coffee isn't like that. The flavor isn't bad. But it didn't taste as fresh. But the bag was "deflated". It didn't look air-tight sealed like usually coffee bags look like. So I may have gotten a bag that wasn't too good.
