Comfortable braceI have been using this to combat "mommy thumb" and I really like this brace, I love that I can take the metal part out because sometimes the metal is too much support. I also find it very comfortable to sleep in which is important because that is when my thumb gets it most rest and I tend to sleep on my hands. My only complaint about this brace is that it does make my hand sweaty, but I just take it off a few times a day and it's not a big deal. This by far the most comfortable of the braces I have tried. 4Split works but not as advertisedsteel plate in thumb is not removable, it is sewn in and cannot be removed when you want. the brace also puts your thumb in an awkward and uncomfortable position. 2I purchased this so I could limit movement and support ...I purchased this so I could limit movement and support mm thumb while it heals from a tendon strain. Just having it on reminds me to be aware of the injury which is helping . The brace is well made, very adjustable and appears to be durable. It is secure and does not loosen with use as I work.[I am a blue collar worker who works with his hands all day] Would purchase again. Hope this helps you with your decision. 5Simple to use but Low Quality**** Edited after a months of use:Not a long lasting product. After wearing this 4-5 times a week for 1 month, it no longer stays wrapped correctly. It slides down even when properly velcrowd. The thumb strap also has become uncomfortable and cuts into thumb when the rest of the wrap moves. Original review:This is very streamlined and easy to put on with one hand free. After reading many brand reviews, this onemade sense. It is much nicer than other braces with complex straps and plastic pieces.The thumb support is cushioned so you can t feel the hard metal. The metal aligns perfectly with thumb bone. It is very comfortable and not bulky. The thumb mobilization is excellent without being a hinderance.I bought a different brand last month which is fine, but doesn t compare with this one. Buy it. 1Great splint. This has helped 5Does not work for meI am used to Futuro thumb stabilizer braces and cannot wear this one. It's too bulky, it fastens "backwards" and it has only one stay support up the thumb. Sorry. 1It works well, great thumb/wrist area support with the adjustable Velcro straps at several contact points.My thumb keeps popping out of joint due to Gout and other very painful related arthritic issues. So, bought this mainly for the thumb-bracing support piece. It works really well, allows adjustment on several contact areas, down around wrist so should accommodate most needs for support of the wrist-thumb region. Only part of description I might adjust is the "breathable" mention. I tried leaving mine on over night and in the morning it was quite moist when I unwrapped it. Now I know to just plan on airing it out periodically. other than that, it has helped me a good deal keeping my thumb-joint in place and relatively, out of pain. 4GrestIt s very comfortable but it s too short. I do love this brace and am super glad I have it. 5Did the job for meI need padding at the base of my left thumb to absorb the strain and shock from range shooting. It was a trigger thumb that was "corrected" through surgery. Not much of a correction unfortunately and the base of that thumb is now prone to soreness when worked or stressed. From the picture I took a chance that the Neo-G would provide some padding and relief when I went shooting. It has worked better than I could have hoped for. I keep it in my range bag now so I am sure not to forget it. I'll be ordering another to keep around the house. As much as I'd like to wear it all the time, the doc said not to because it's important that my thumb be allowed to flex lest it become permanently stiff. 5
