Love itVery authentic matcha smell. Easy to dissolve. Made my matcha milk with it. So fresh.5Pretty good value for an organic matcha...This is a very decent quality culinary-grade matcha for the price since it is also organic, but the bag itself is pretty terrible. It does not close, since the matcha powder immediately got stuck in the ziploc-type enclosure, making it really messy and impossible to seal once opened. I had to use a clip and fold the bag over to try to keep it fresh. The matcha itself is not among the best I have tried, but this is the first time I have bought culniary-grade. It is closer to a dusty yellow-brown rather than the shades of green I have seen from other matcha brands (and I have purchased over 6 or 7 kinds in the past several years), and it also does not smell much like matcha. I was planning on using this as a cheaper matcha for baking and to add for coloring, and it does the job well enough. I will likely buy this again whenever I cannot afford the higher grades of matcha.3First Time Purchase of MatchaOk taste, did seem to give me energy without jitters , didn't have the astringent quality of some teas. I had to subtract a star because the allegedly resealable package did not reseal. I had to transfer the contents into something else , which was a pain and wasted some of it.4Sweet matchaI love this product. I ve been drinking matcha for well over 2 years now. I ve tried many different ones and this one (besides Teavana) has been my favorite. Plus you can t beat the price.5Affordable and delicious!I use this organic matcha powder in my vegan matcha frappucinos. It's cheaper than buying a Starbucks green tea frap and way healthier since I can adjust my own sweetness level. It's a nice bright green color and doesn't have too much of a bitter after taste. Well, you get what you pay for! I should have known it was too good to be true. Ceremonial matcha is a bright, vibrant green, where as culinary matcha will be a bit more muted -- but usually the greener, the better. This stuff was a yellow/green color and didn't smell like matcha at all. I gave it a shot and made my matcha latte anyway, and it wasn't good....at all. It tasted very earthy, like if someone made dead grass into powder. I ended up throwing it out.TRUST ME, there are better culinary grade matchas out there, if you are willing to spend a little bit more. If you aren't a regular matcha drinker and don't care about the quality or if you plan to hide the flavor by adding in a ton of sugar and other things, then this might work for you. Also found a banana bread recipe that included some matcha - also very tasty!I m not great about eating veggies, so they often go bad before they re digested. Getting powdered super foods makes me feel like I m still getting a little veggie-esque nutrition in my diet. And when I think about how much wasted produce I can collect, the big price tag seems more reasonable.5Will never buy from them again.Very disappointed.
