One StarThese made my cough worse. Probably because they are so sweet they irritate my throat. Just overpriced candy. 1Delicious Healthy Sucking CandiesSince I don't eat candy, this is the one "candy" I will occasionally eat, being that it's healthy and also delicious. It was especially good for sucking on to get a salivary stone to come out of the salivary duct! Also great for sucking on if you have a sore or irritated throat. 5Effective. A good first treatment or preventive care measure.They work. If I take them in time, I can stop a cold. If I'm a bit late, I can usually end a cold earlier than otherwise. Because of childhood medical issues, as an adult I have susceptibility to -- and a history of -- head colds, sinus problems, et cetera. Over the years, I have taken / tried various medicines, vitamins, herbal solutions, and so on. These lozenges are effective, low cost in comparison to other solutions, and don't have the side effects that some meds do. So a great first treatment, or preventive measure, if you have a sore throat or feel a cold coming on. A major respiratory infection obviously requires more serious treatment, and likely even professional medical attention. But these lozenges can help you from reaching that stage. Definitely recommended. 5A blessing!A blessing these taste like regular candy for my kids, so they take them without "questioning"! They love taking their zinc lozenges, they just ask for more! No aftertaste either. 5RecommendFeel like you got hit by a Mac truck? Yup, the Dr. called it the flu. Get that pesky cough too? Yup. These most definitely helped with the cough! I sent some to my Mom too for a cough she had...said it helped her better than anything she d tried. I also bought some elderberry syrup, put lots of garlic and ginger in our food and drank more echinacea tea. Definitely recommend these. 5I tasted a sample of those and loved them. The vitamin c and zinc are great additives. 5IF YOU'RE AN ELDERBERRY FAN, THESE ARE FOR YOUNo strong flavor, won't cut your throat either. Take one a day during times of exposure of being around grown adults who are too uncaring to cover their mouth when they sneeze or cough. Sad when people do this, a simple sneeze can blow through and entire department store, but they don't seem to care. If you're already sick, they will help you get better, just be patient. They might have a little magic in them, but not instantaneous. 5.I love them. The only drawback is that it leaves an aftertaste in my mouth for a while. I wanted some orange juice after I took it and it had a strong reaction to the taste of the lozenge. So, don't drink or eat citrus right after you take one. Wait a bit. But they are keeping us well this winter. Thanks! 5Another way to take zinc.These look like hard candy and are individually wrapped. Makes it easy to carry some in your purse and maintain the zinc factor in your system. 5
