Hurt my stomachThis stuff killed my stomach. I wanted it for breastfeeding increase and I don't think it helped but only gave me a really upset stomach like sharp pains! I would pass on this, especially if you had a c-section like me. 1Doesn't help or hurtMy baby is 6 weeks old and I've been taking 2 pills/3x a day for 4 weeks. I don't know if it has made any significant improvements, but I don't have a supply problem either. I pump average of 2oz per breast when I feed on one side up to 4 oz in the morning when I wake up full. I was hoping to build up my supply to have a lot of excess, but that's not my case. Taking with Fenugreek. 5I have used Nature s Way blessed thistle in the past and it is a great product.I ordered 2 bottles of blessed thistle and received one bottle of raspberry leaf and one bottle of licorice root. I tried to return/replace it and was informed that this is not eligible for returns. I have used Nature s Way blessed thistle in the past and it is a great product. 1Works great.I am taking them to help with my breast milk supply & is working great. Combine them with fenugreek & really helps 5supposed to help you lactate moreit may or may not work for you 3Not worth it for meI take fenugreek along with the mother's milk tea to help increase my milk supply. I heard blessed thistle would also help. Unfortunately it only made me nauseous and would make me gag. I didn't get through the entire bottle. I am in surgical menopause, (no ovaries) and also take maca root and vitex. The blessed thistle helps balance me out and as a bonus it really gave some new life to my breasts! They have noticeably filled back out and firmed back up since I've been taking this. Only take 1-2 pills a day, and have taken it for about three months now. I stopped for about a week to test it's effects and that's how I know for certain it is effective for me. 5During different periods where I was concerned of diminishing milk supply for various reasons Lactation consultant recommended tUsing this blessed thistle combined with Nature's Way Fenugreek for increasing my breast milk supply.
