BEAUTIFUL & HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT!I can't find this product at my local Lowe's or HomeDepot anymore (in the dark bronze) so I ordered online. It was installed by a builder friend who had no problems with it (it is designed to handle considerable weight put on it and my husband who uses a wheelchair can attest to its strength capabilities).IT IS BEAUTIFUL! It also has gentle indentations on the underside of the handle so when you grip it, your fingers can grasp it better.It looks so nice that I'm going to order a dark bronze toilet tissue holder to finish off the decor.PICTURE INCLUDED to show that despite its dark contrasting color in the small bath, it can look great with a few dark accents (sink, faucet, corner shelves). 5Happy again!We previously had this grab bar in brushed nickel. We were very happy with the original bars for 7 years. When we remodeled the bathroom we went with the bronze. They were installed as part of the remodel so I can't comment on installation. They are very sturdy, easy to clean and look great! 5Watch the video? Well, those anchors are NOT included!!!Ordered this because their video showed how to install, including the anchors - which, one would presume, are included. They are not!And since they are generally necessary, one would think they would emphasize they are not included. That way you could either choose to buy them additionally, or choose another product.Seems mighty sneaky to me to show video using anchors and then neither enclose with bar, or show anchors separately during ordering.Would not recommend this product nor would I have bought had the truth been known.I, personally, call this false advertisement and will make the BBB aware of their bait and switch tactics. 1absolutely beautiful. little pricey but you get what u pay ...Again remodeeled my entire bathroom with ORB Moen Products. absolutely beautiful. little pricey but you get what u pay for. My plumber advised me it cannot be installed as a grab bar for safety as there are no studs in the wall. its all drywall. I am now trying to have it returned to Moen or Amazon as it is of no use to me now whatsoever. They are usually pretty good but i believe my last return date was June 13, 2018 problem is bath fitters came out and put up the wall in the last week and this is how i found about the issue. I must admit I am a licensed contractor so I am experiences with this type of work.Again Great product. 5Need to purchase bronze-colored SecureMount hardwareI was disappointed to learn that they no longer included the SecureMount hardware for this item. So I bought the standard hardware with the silver disk, only to discover that I needed the bronze-colored SecureMount hardware as the flange mounts on top of the disk, it does not cover it as with other bars (see photo). In all of my previous experiences with SecureMount the flange mounts over the disk and hides it completely from view. This was an unexpected turn of events and I'm a bit less than happy with the outcome. Fortunately, this is for a guest bathroom in my house so I don't have to look at it everyday. Otherwise, this is a strong bar and a very strong mounting system. Highly recommended, but with the bronze-colored SecureMount instead of silver. Very nice grab bar! 4Moen innovation shinesVery nice looking support bar with smart secure mount plate that allows versatile mounting options on studs. However if you are securing only to drywall, the secure mount anchors needed are sold separately and are expensive!The bar is not commercial grade but fine for home use. 4Very Nice 24" Grab BarI was very pleased with the looks and the sturdiness of this grab bar. We were able to install the 24" into the studs in the wall by putting it at a diagonal. It covers more territory doing it that way so all around was the best way to install and use. I bought the anchor kit just in case we needed it but by placing it the way we did on the studs, I didn't need it and returned the kit for a full refund. It matches my other Old World Bronze Moen fixtures perfectly. I would definitely recommend this. 5Grab Bars are Great; Mounting Screws Not so MuchI installed the 24" grab bars in a shower and next to a toilet. Since the 24" length did not line up to the wall studs, I opened up the walls and installed backing boards. It was a fairly lengthy project, but I wanted it done right. The bars are very sturdy and attractive. We already had Moen fixtures in the bathroom, so the color matches perfectly. The mounting screws that Moen provides are just about worthless, since it is very easy to strip out the tops where they meet the screwdriver. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and buy some good quality 2 1/2" construction screws. 4BeautifulWe bought these because they match what the previous homeowner installed. The were easy to install with 3 push-in anchors. We didn't need to use the large anchors provided by Moen. We like that they have finger grips and a beautiful finish. The flanges fit tight to the mounting surface. 5
