I can now retire my fanny pack!!! :-))5Proven to be your best personal backup kit.After a few trips along with the EMS Crew, this Trauma Shear Kit was proven to be useful. I used every single item within my first 4 rides. Once I used up my CPR Mask and Bandages, I used the space to store my Gloves, hand sanitizers, bandages, and alcohol wipes. I love the provided belt hook which made it convient for me to access stuff for basic life support. It does not get in the way and does not fall off my belt. (I have a thick belt). Also, this Trauma Shear Kit is light weight has been with me on every ride. I LOVE IT. I definately would recommend this product for its quality, price, and basic needs for the EMS field.5This pouch works perfect for both of themIm on an inter-facility bls truck working long shifts at a time. I also work on a separate 911 bls truck. This pouch works perfect for both of them. Most of what came in the pouch I don't use because we already have it on the truck, but it serves its purpose.Pros: Comes with standard everything you will need, and the trauma shears and other tools are of quality.Nice size for personal customization to meet day to day life.No more changing everything out of your tech pants every night.Fits so comfortably you will forget its there, in any seat.Cons: The shears in the main cover picture are considerably smaller than in real life. They are not mini, but not the standard large size I'm accustomed to. They are accurately represented in the rest of the pictures though.For clairifcation, when the pouch is closed properly, the cover will be snug with the top of the shears. The pictures showing the stethoscope and other tools in the pouch as well are not a perfect representation the the pouch. The fold line for the cover is the top of the shears, and it is snug then. It WILL NOT fit those other tools, properly, with the top closed on it.Not really a con, but may also be nice to experiment with a magnetic closure. Also there is an open space between the belt loop and the beginning of the pouch, so you can wear it horizontally as well. I believe this would be a perfect place for a loop to slide a larger set of shears into, with a small strap to secure it in place, like most technician pants have.*Note: not all, but a good bit, of what is in the picture, came with the pouch.Overall 5/5 and I love it!5We set out to create the most useful and compactWhen my partner and I were asked by friends who are the camp hosts of Bagby Hotsprings if we'd volunteer to be physicians manning a First Aid station for an upcoming meteor shower that is anticipated to draw hundreds of spectators, we said sure! Then they added the caveat we'd supply the First Aid station and supplies. We set out to create the most useful and compact, but fully prepared "pack". We decided to create what we consider the best triage, diagnostic, and treatment medical kit for rendering aid. We took this seriously since by car, the nearest ER was 2 hours away. To summon a medical emergency evac by helicopter could be an hour and can only be done by emergency beacon or sat phone. We gathered several tools, but the EMT tools and holster certainly meet a need for handy and well chosen tools at a very high quality. We appreciated the service the seller provided to check on the shipment and our satisfaction. This product is indeed fantastic I was very happy with the purchase but maybe I was a little rough during work that may be why it detached from my belt.I want you to give this product a try and with ease of knowing you have a company who cares enough to ask you about your experience with their product. The trauma shears are low quality (but still very usable)2. The pouch does not accommodate a stethoscope as advertisedNow, those 2 things aside. This is a great belt medkit. I would recommend replacing the gauze pads with hemostaticgauze.if you intend to use it.Now I've been using this while off duty and have found it to be helpful to a degree. However I cannot find any real practical use for this, my medkit had hundreds of times more supplies. And is never more than tens of feet awayIf you really need trauma shears. Bandages, gloves, and a pen light... I would invest in EMS pants, as they will also fit your stethoscope and not obstruct your waist for driving4A necessity for anyone in EMSAs an EMS volunteer I can assure you it s convenient to have a pouch that can carry your shears, pen, light and all other minor essentials. Everything is readily available rather than having to search your bag and gear for something like shears, tape or gloves. It clips on easily and you barely notice it. I have it loaded with shears, tape, extra gloves, and a pen light if needed. Makes your life easier. It even had a tiny u hook so i can secure my Pulse Ox to the side. I recommend it for anyone in the EMS field. A must have.5Neat little kitI honestly just got this because I needed some new shears and I thought I'd use the pouch for other things. For the price, it's not too bad.The little carabiner broke within 30 minutes of using it, but it's not really a big deal, I didn't expect it to last.The shears aren't the best, but they do work just fine. The pouch itself is very versatile and seems to be well made.
