Works well so farSo far, very happy. Have yet to test it in the shower but my almost 5 years old stayed dry during an intense water gun fight. The top part stayed secure on his leg as he ran around and the inside was perfectly dry when I took it off. Just a tip, when you have to remove wet shorts over this, I removed it and wrapped a large garbage bag over the top of his cast, slid his shorts onto the garbage bag and then slid the whole thing off his leg. The cover is HUGE, I almsot thought it was for an adult but we put his boot over the bottom so he could run aroubd without fear of puncturing the cover or slipping and the rest was just very baggy. I'm happy with it, we have 4 weeks with the cast and 2 weeks of his summer program. Thet dont have a pool but they do sprinkler time and water tables. I wanted something to ensure he stays dry but was easy for the teachers this is perfect.5TOO SHORT AND CAN T RETURN!!!!FYI- This product CANNOT be returned!! So order your sizing carefully! if it s too short for your cast, then you re out of luck! I have a pretty tall 9 year old, and the 8-10 size didn t cover his cast.1Great product!My 8 year old son broke his leg and was put in a full leg cast up to his thigh.Was so relieved to find this cover that worked perfectly to comfortably and safely cover his cast for showers. The seal is nice and tight and had to issues with water leakage. Made with very durable plastic material . Although it worked perfectly for showers , we didn t feel comfortable using it for the pool. We ended up using this cover for showers and keeping it clean, and bought a dry pro swimming cover for the pool.If you re debating on getting this, we highly recommend this.5Highly recommendThis item saved my daughters summer after breaking her leg Memorial day weekend. She had a long cast in the beginning and then switched to a short. She is an average sized 3 year old (maybe little tall) and this fit her very well. Bath time, swimming, playing in the sprinkler all without a problem. Towards the end there were a few scratches on the bottom which didn't effect the performance because she got sand in it from the bottom of the cast and then walked with it on. It s 24 long and the cuff circumference is 13-15 according to the packaging. The plastic is sturdy and durable (probably wouldn t walk around on hard surface with it though). The rubber around the thigh reminds me of a wetsuit but with rubber lined on the inside to keep the water out. Would definitely buy again.5Great BuyMy 4 year old had cast up past his knee and this product completely covered it and was nice and snug around his thigh. He got in tub with it. I didn't give him as much water as I normally would but his leg was definitely under water and his cast stayed dry as a bone (make sure you get all air out and don't keep under water too long due to sweat-20 mins max) he also plays at his water table with it as well and we had no issues with his cast staying dry. This was one of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon and would recommend to anyone!5Fits snug but did the job!My 3 yr old broke his leg and we decided to get a cast cover so he could bathe. We mostly sponge bathed him but once a week, we had to give him a bath. He sat in a few inches of water with this cover over his full leg cast (would also work in the shower if he could stand or sit on a stool). He's big for his age (80%tile) and it fit pretty snug over his thigh so he didn't really like having it on but it did keep water out! If you get any part of the cast wet, the skin breaks down and you HAVE TO get a new one so it was worth the cost and a little bit of discomfort for him to give him a good cleaning and to keep the cast dry.4Best product on the marketAMAZING!!! He swam almost daily and bathed with it. It was easy to use and kept his cast bone dry. The bag inflates in the water from body heat but he didn't mind. The top water seal is like a wet suit/neoprean seal. Doesn't pinch or hurt. We tried other products on the market and they didn't work as well.5
