I couldn't find Kodiak Cakes when I moved to Georgia but finding it on Amazon with Prime shipping was heaven sent.This waffle mix is the best tasting and most satisfying box mix I've ever had. I can't say enough good things about it.5Watch what you pay for this.I buy this product all the time and is is excellent. About $5.00 at Walmart for a 24oz box. When I ordered this I was sure it said it was the large 4+ lb box for about $14. I received a 24oz box. Amazon made it right and that is why I continue to shop Amazon. I am giving this one star because of the value not because the product is one star, it is a 5.5Great Whole Grain PancakesI read a FB article about how the 2 sons of the originator (MOM) started selling her mix as youngsters. After several half-hearted tries at commercial success, they went in different directions, and now back to plan one....the original + variations they've created. Very good product. Easy to use. I haven't made pancakes in years and it was easy to do. Hubby liked them too.5I purchased this product to make oatmeal, dark chocolate cookies using this mix.I saw a recipe in a magazine using this flapjack mix to make oatmeal cookies with dark chocolate. The article told how this was her grandfather's recipe and the tradition is being carried on.5Good but high-pricedLove the protein level and the taste, and it is easy to make. I found, however, that I could get it for $5.99- $6.99 at my local Safeway store.4Ok, nothing special to buy off of AmazonSo I've been on a healthier diet kick and when I saw this was an item my coach recommended for an alternative to normal pancakes I decided to try it. First thing, the price is about twice as much as what it goes for in stores so be aware. Check the Kodiak Cakes website for local stores who carry it to try it. I made this into waffles and pancakes using water, milk, and almond milk. The mixing directions ask for water to be used but that seemed to make it too thin bodied to me when eating it so I decided to add more solids to it by using milk and almond milk the next time I made it up. Regardless of how I mixed it, this makes thin pancakes whereas I like "fluffier" pancakes. Waffles were better then the pancakes and I'm more apt to use this as waffle mix. The best flavored ones I made used half milk and half unsweetened almond milk instead of water to mix with.As far as taste goes, overall these were ok. Nothing special that I would pay the marked up prices on Amazon for. I'd be tempted to try the other flavors but this is the only kind available in my area. It makes a thin pancake and a decent waffle. For future uses, I'd only use this as a waffle mix. I did buy additional boxes at the local grocery store as there are a few recipes I'd like to try the mix in. If you are on a diet and these work for you based on the lower sugar and increase protein content these are worth a try at least to see if they can help.3These whole wheat pancakes DON'T TASTE like whole wheat...they taste AWESOME!Saw "Kodiak Cakes" on Shark Tank, and had to try them out. The batter is super easy...just add water, and mike them up like regular pancakes. I honestly wasn't expecting them to taste as good as they did!The fact that they're made of whole wheat, and are healthier than normal pancakes is a great touch...especially since I love lost of butter and maple syrup on my pancakes...this mix helps to level the playing field...health wise!I'm also glad to see the price has dropped. When I purchased my first box I believe the price was closer to $12, now it's down to $8.70 with prime!4Love these!I love these pancakes!..I make them after a heavy weight-lighting workout!..Perfect for replenishing burnt calories & muscle build! :D5I cant believe it but.... After watching the Shark Tank episode and after all the sharks said it was good I figured I'd try, it must not be too bad. I would have never thought they'd be this good!!!!Not only is it my favorite 'healthier' choice but this tastes better than any other mix I've used....
