Fresh.Fresh. Good quality. I was concerned that these might be old and unsold ones that had sat on a shelf for a long time. Not the case. Very Happy5Love them!These didn t come with ice packs, but it was only in the 70 s here so it was ok. They weren t melted at all. It is now almost 90 so I won t be able to order again because it would need ice packs for sure now. I wish the ice packs were used more often being in the desert in CA, I can t order any chocolate after March here. I like the dark chocolate kit kat the best. I recommend ordering chocolate from Amazon to everyone.5Watch out for stale food items.I have been pleased with this item in the past, but I am very disappointed in this shipment. The candy was old and stale. The chocolate had melted and reset. I had passed some out to my family before I tried one. Why would you ever pass off such crud to your Prime members...or any customer? I realize that Kit Kat bars are not a returnable item, but I needed to voice my disgust anyway. Opened to find old product.1Not expired but closeItem did arrive with cooling pouch that appears to have kept it from melting. But the expiration date is 10/2019. When you open the package there is a white tint to the chocolate not the bright dark chocolate you would expect. When trying to eat one there is a "fury" texture not the smooth texture you get when buying at the store. The taste is of an item that is near it's end of life. Maybe if you were putting these in a milkshake you would be good. But if you are planning on eating them or giving them to others steer clear. These will be headed to the garbage instead of the office as planned.1Dark chocolate KitKatI first tried KitKat dark chocolate bars a couple of years ago when I bought Halloween candy I loved it but couldn't find it anywhere I was glad to find it at Amazon and that I could buy just dark and not the variety pack this candy is delicious . And the packing is great it came with cold packs so you don't have to worry about a melted mass thanks Amazon5
