Works fineThese sharps containers work fine in our lab. Amazon had them for a better deal than Fisher or VWR, and they're Prime shipping eligible. There's not really much else to say other than they work fine unless you're particular about your sharps containers for some reason.4product as expectedGood product. Have purchased the same item before. No problems with product and recommend this if you need to have a sharps container.5In this case Bigger is betterI am a diabetic and take 4 injections of insulin a day. Smaller sharps containers would fill up very quickly. With this one, it takes about 6 months before it is full. I take it to my local hospital and they kindly take it from me for proper disposal. I, like all sharps containers, is made of heavy plastic so as not to risk puncture. This price was outstanding compared to having to get so many smaller containers at frequent intervals.5High recommendedReally appreciate the size although some may find it intrusive if space is limited. The container is well marked. It should hold well over a year of syringes even with twice a day injections. Biggest concern is I wish it were a bit thicker. That minor shortcoming may not actually be an issue if I'm careful when it's emptied. Highly recommended.4A Great Container If You Are Tired Of Filling Up Smaller ContainersThis is a great sharps container especially if you go through a lot of injections as both my wife and I do. The containers I've found at the local stores barely last us a week and they are not cheap, either. Both my husband, cat and I have diabetes and this container holds all syringes and testing supplies. I bought this previously that we filled up, closed the sealer in the cover, and my husband took it to Walgreens with no problems. The first time I bought this product I could get it in a 2 pack. I take shots three times a week that come prepackaged in their own little auto-injector that cannot be removed to dispose of separately. That leads to me being able to fit roughly three, four if I really work at it, in the average size sharps container supplied for me with my shots. It is currently July '14 and I've used this since November '13. I'm just now getting to the two-thirds full mark and needless to say, it's fantastic.The container is roughly the size of, and not all that much unlike, a small (non kitchen) garbage can. The plastic of the container itself is strong with just enough give to it that you won't end up accidentally cracking it. The lid fits snugly and is quite easy to close. Thankfully, due to its size there are little hand holds on each side of the container under the lip for the lid. While it wouldn't be hard to pick it up without them (it's in no way -that- big), having them makes things a bit simpler still.If you want to use this container, I would advise that you check with your state, and/or county, etc about regulations for disposal. Regulations change depending on your location and it would do you no good to buy and use the container only to find out you cannot take it for disposal. Some locations would not take it at all, others would take it with no problem, and others still may take it and charge you more for disposing of it. All in all, best to find out before purchase.5
