CrumbsI want to write this to be as impartial and offer advice to consumers. Personally I think the taste is fine. Others that have complained about it being bland, probably aren't diabetic and are used to eating things laced with sugar. The only annoying part for me was all the little chia seeds getting caught in my teeth. For me, this is a healthy, fulfilling snack that won't raise your blood sugars. So why the Title or Headline? Crumbs? Well it may have been shipping or like many other granola type of snacks, it just crumbles apart the more it is disturbed. After all there isn't any sugar holding all of these seeds and ingredients together. So in the 3 bags I bought together, each bag ended up being half full of crumbs, loose seeds and coconut. I thought well I am not going to just throw out half these bags, so what shall I do.. I poured the contents into a large bowl and added just enough honey to sort of bind it all together. I have some Skinny Syrups with different flavors so I added a very small amount of that to further bind the contents without adding any more sugar. I used a bit of honey as it is a healthier alternative than pure sugar. Sure it adds a bit of sweetness, and if diabetic like me, well we need to be careful how much we eat and check our glucose.. The Skinny Syrups I have are a nice Sucralose (Splenda) sweetener and adds more flavor. I usually use these in my coffee. Order some if you are watching your blood sugars but want to enjoy a nice flavored coffee or latte. Anyway.. I mixed all those ingredients thoroughly and then using a cookie sheet covered with some wax paper, I flattened it into the cookie sheet and baked it 325 for about 15 minutes.. Keep your eye on it as it you do not want it to burn. You are just heating the mixture to a temp so that the honey and syrup melt, soak and dry into the mixture holding it all together once again. After I let it cool for a bit, I was able to break it up into pieces and place them into a container with lid.. let it cool all the way before putting a lid on it, any warmth will get trapped in a closed container causing your new granola bites to be soft.. Good Luck and Enjoy!4This is why I hate trying new things...It s edible... But I wish it tasted better. Now I have to get through 3 bags of this stuff. You can t go from regular cereal to eating this. You ll be disappointed. But hey, at least it s low carb and high protein right? Maybe I should try mixing raisins with it huh? No! It should be good straight from the bag! I miss Honey Nut Cheerios... And other cereals... Hey, they re fortified with vitamins and minerals... Don t judge me... Only buy this if you don t care about taste... Or if you have pets... Wait, that s too harsh... Nah. Maybe it s an acquired taste? What if tastebuds worked differently? Like if only healthy things tasted good? This stuff would probably taste amazing then huh? But seriously though, I ve had better and I ve had worse...**Update**You better be hungry when you eat this stuff. I finally finished a decent size bowl of this stuff. Took about 6-8 episodes of a semi decent sitcom. The episodes didn t have commercials. After about the 11th bite, you begin to wonder, Am I almost finished yet?.. No! You re nowhere near finished and you better not waste it! People are starving all over the world man... Thug it out...3Can't live without it anymore!I was first skeptical about ProGranola. I had never found a grain free ganola that really met my expectations. This goes beyond that, it's a "must have" now in my kitchen. I'ts the new and real healthy morning cereal. It's a great snack by itself also. It's crunchy and delicious.5very good and does tend to have lots of crumbs at ...very good and does tend to have lots of crumbs at the end of the bag. I portion mine out so you can spread those crumbs into each service and keep the chunks for all servings.5Delicious and NutritiousI use a half serving (18 g or 1/4 cup) in a 6 oz container of plain yogurt and a zero calorie sweetener as an outstanding adjunct to a quick nut healthy breakfast. It s also good without the yogurt in a bowl (36 g or 1/2 cup) with some berries and cream. It s really good stuff! Plus, it helps keep me regular and provides more protein than cereals do.5Expensive, but good.I hate paying so much for granola but need the low carb and don t really want to spend my time making it from scratch. It is quite tasty (I buy the vanilla) and texture has improved greatly over the first order I received (pieces are still big and need broken, but at least they can be broken without the use of tools now!). If price doesn t come down I ll probably put more effort into finding a recipe to make my own.4Basically granola sand. Expensive dustArrived with some cerea clustersl on top but rest was granola dust. Waste of money. 3rd time ordering and 3rd time this happened. Package says 15 serving, which comes out to 3 good servings of cereal and 12 serving of granola dust you throw away.2Tasty and low glycemicI have been a type I diabetic for over 50 years so I have tried many products that claim to be low carb/low glycemic and taste good. Much of the time I end up being disappointed. NOT SO with this product. I think it tastes very good. People who are used to eating sugar will of course be disappointed with any low carb food. This cereal is not Honey Nut Cheerios nor would I want it to be. What it IS is very tasty, filling and most importantly for me, low glycemic. For people watching calories it is of note that the serving size (37g) used for the nutritional data is pretty small. I would suggest weighing it out to see what 37g of this product looks like. The amount that I end up eating for breakfast is probably at least twice that much.Overall, a very good low carb/low glycemic food.5AddictingThis cereal is the bomb. It arrived fresh and nicely packaged. The cereal is so high in protein and very filling and makes a great breakfast or snack. I love it topped with blueberries and almond milk - I even take it to work for lunch. It s very low in calories and net carbs - perfect for my low carb Weight Watchers plan (one serving is 2 WW freestyle points). My only complaint is that it s addicting - I want to snack on it all the time. BTW you get three huge bags.5Not a big granola eater but I love this productSo high in protein, it stays with me all morning. 1/2 cup is only 2 smart points for Weight Watchers. I love the seeds and shaved coconut in it. Soooooo good5
