Not Loose Tea!!This is really great Earl Grey Tea, but it is tea bags, not loose tea!! You need to change this information. What I wanted was more of the same Harney tea in the black tin, also very good. I would have returned it, but I had already opened the bag. I couldn't believe it was tea bags.3What the hell Harney and sonsI've bought this exact same tea in the 1 pound for about 7 years now from both Amazon and directly from Harney and sons and loved it. Until now, it's now bland and there is hardly any Bergamot taste or smell. It's almost like a crappy English breakfast tea, you know the stuff that tastes and smells like hay. Time to find another supplier.1Excellent value for Earl Grey TeaI make one cup of black tea a day and this bag lasts a really long time. The taste is great and I don't think you could find it anywhere cheaper, at least not at the local tea shops in my area. It is really hard to find loose leaf tea at a supermarket so specialty shops tend to charge more, I guess.5Good and sad!Harney and Sons Earl Grey is wonderful!As always the aroma and freshness of this tea are great. However, when the box arrived one of the bags has a big cut. The curious part is that only one bag was damaged. The other three were in good shape. I can't go out to send it back and it's a shame that has to be wasted. I lost the money and the tea.4Most delicious Earl Grey ever.Earl Grey is my favorite tea. Harney and Sons Supreme is the best I've ever tasted. It's better than the spendy tea house variety I used to buy. It tastes delicious hot or iced. It's especially soothing when I'm not feeling well.5All other Earl Grey tastes like dirt now!This is my favorite Earl Grey! I got a sample of it in my Sipsby box a few months ago and fell in love with it. Unfortunately in my area, I could not find any Harney & Sons tea. I was a little skeptical buying it online in loose leaf but it's just as good! Since having this tea I cannot have any other bagged or loose Earl Grey. They all taste like dirt or cardboard now!The flavor is VERY strong and can easily become bitter if steeped too long. I put about a tablespoon in a filter bag and steep it for about 1.5-2 minutes the first time. I usually reuse the bags 2-3 times, each time adding a minute or so to the steep time. I also make ice tea with it, I steep the tea in 10oz of hot water for 2.5 minutes then add about 10-15oz of ice.One pound also goes a long way. I've already portioned 40 bags of tea (in an air tight container) and I still have over half of the bulk bag left. My only complaint is that the seal on the bag is very difficult to close. For extra security I folded over the opening and closed the fold with binder clips.5my favorite early greyit is of excellent quality and a great value at this size. I have a tea press I use but it would work just fine in tea bags or diffusers without issue. it is smooth and comforting. a well balanced and deeply satisfying tea.5AmazingAmazing tea. I have tried many Earl Gray versions and generally find them very dull, little flavor. This one is by far my favorite. It almost tastes sweet to me with nothing in it, the aromas and flavors are so pleasant.5Really not up to Harney's standardsI have tried Harney teas in for years in the smaller quantities, both in sachets and loose tea. Paris, regular Earl Grey always tasted great. However, this is by far the worse Earl Grey I've ever tasted of any brand. The tea is tasteless; the bergamot flavor is barely detectable, way less than in the plain Earl Grey. The tea leaves are of a medium size with lots of dust. Definitely not what you'd expect from this brand and not for the money - it was not cheap! I'm not sure whether it's the seller - even though it says by Harney & Sons on the item, my order says 'sold by Tru Inertia', which seems to have very good feedback; either way, I am extremely disappointed with this tea.1Was refunded for the product, came with tears in bagUPDATE: I emailed the vendor and was given a full refund.I bought this product because Ive read it is quite tasty. Upon receiving this product there were several large tears in the front of the bag and one small tear in the back of the bag. The bag itself seems nice, it has a handy ziplock top, however the holes in the bag were not nice and there was tea throughout the inside of my box. It seems that the package was mishandled in delivery. I used some packing tape to seal these tears, however this being a large quantity of tea am very unhappy. Upon tasting the tea it seemed stale as in it had been sitting in storage with holes in it for some time.5
