The toe separator is more streamlined than others, but ...The toe separator is more streamlined than others, but not enough for running. The piece that separates the big toe from the second begins to hurt so much, that I did not want to wear shoes with this. It ok to wear around the house or with shoes with very wide toe boxes, but for running, I will stick with toilet paper or gauze rolled into a small piece and wedged between the big toe and second toe. 2Comfortable. Lasts for a month before breakingThe gel toe separator solved my bunion pain. Comfortable for most of the day in shoes with a wide toe box. Lasts for a month before breaking. Stays in place. And after wearing them for more than a year, I didn t need it during a two-week vacation with lots of walking. 5Good productDecent product for the $. Bought for my 11 year old. Doesn t seem incredibly corrective but she notices a difference when she s wearing them. Wears at night and they do come off at times, so may want to wear socks over. 3The Small Size is Perfect!I'm happy to have found these splints in sizes rather than just one-size-fits-all. The small is wonderful. These are more effective and more comfortable than the generic size. Thanks HappyStep for a great product. 5Great buy for the the moneyThe product does exactly what it's supposed to do, it separates my toes and is certainly a relief from crossover toe. 5Great for turf toe!My son developed turf toe from doing tons of flips and jumps every day. We tried the HappyStep Bunion Splint and it worked great. He gets relief the second he puts it on. He still can't do flips and jumps until it heals but the splint really helps with the pain. It's tight in a shoe so he tapes his toe when he puts a shoe on but otherwise he wears the splint when barefoot. 4Two thumbs up I don't usually bother to write reviews but before purchasing this product I did research volume of reviews & positive ratings. This was on the top.All of a sudden I noticed that my big toes had begun to turn in and crowd my other toes which is causing pain. I truly bellieve this product could turn that around since it seems recent & so late in life. I just need to develop a plan to wear consistently. 5great results in one nightI was skeptical at first, as I had been experiencing this angling of my big toe and swollen joint for about a year and a half. After wearing this splint only one night for 8 hours I noticed a signifcant straightening as soon as I took it off. It wasn't perfect but I would say it appeared 50% improved and by the end of the day it was still showing improvement. I am looking forward to see what it will do given some time. 5Happy I found theseThese are an essential purchase for forefoot reconstruction post-op. The usual post-op to separators are annoying and they feel so dirty after each nights sleep. These correctors aren't like that at all! They are easy to use, comfortable to sleep in and provide amazing support.They can be a little painful if you "over correct" so be sure to follow the instructions when putting them on to avoid that.I wouldn't recommend them for people with really bad pre-op bunions - the deformity is too hardened and it would take years of wearing these before any movement could take place. If you have a mild bunion, I think they would work ok. 4However I defiantly like the feeling of my feet being straight againThis product really pulls your bunion straight and you can defiantly feel the toe pulled into the correct alignment. I will admit that it feels really uncomfortable because my toe is being forced to align correctly ! However I defiantly like the feeling of my feet being straight again 5
