Waste of money So far only one pod has worked. Every other one keeps exploding and dumping coffee grinds into my cup! 1The absolute best K cup !!! My husband and I are coffee connoisseur's. We have long been Starbucks fans...love coffee shops and like our coffee pretty bold.This past Christmas we bought ourselves a wonderful keurig coffee maker by Cussinart. Best purchase we have made on kitchenappliances in a while. Don't go cheap on these if you are someone who really enjoys your java.This purchase sent us out searching the market for the best K-cup brand. Of course we chose "starbucks" first. we ventured offfrom time to time but ended up with one that was a great price and a perfect cup !!! And I really mean that.We were buying from the local retail stores but I decided on day to check Amazon which I purchase everything on.Voila..............there my k- cup was and at a much better price.Don't believe me? take your cost and divide it by the amount of K-cups you receive to get your cost per cup.Nuff said. I am down to .56 cents per cup. (I have prime shipping) including shipping. 5What's not to like Green Mountain makes organic coffee What's not to like Green Mountain makes organic coffee. Sumatran has a stronger flavor but not bitter, adding a pinch of salt works well if the flavor it to strong for you. 5A NICE BOLD ROUNDED COFFEE A NICE BOLD ROUNDED COFFEE. THIS IS SOME OF THE BEST SUMATRA I HAVE HAD IN QUITE A WHILE. GREAT ANY TIME OF THE DAY. WILL CERTAINLY BUY AGAIN. 5TERRIBLE PACKAGING STALE PRODUCT Upon receiving this coffee, I noticed both boxes were wrapped together in plastic. Through the plastic I could see lots of coffee grounds loose which I never had before in a shipment. Sending the Kcups back was not an option as it is too expensive. I began using them and found the seal on most of the K-cups had been broken allowing coffee grounds to spill out. Several of the K-cups had large holes in them with no coffee left. The coffee grounds were everywhere making a huge mess. The coffee in the K-cups was stale tasting because of the broken seals and in general aweful tasting and left tons of coffee grounds in the cup after brewing. I will not order this coffee again. I do not understand what is happening to Amazon.com. In the past I have had wonderful experiences ordering from them. Products arrived quickly and in excellent condition. As a disabled senior, this is important to me because I have no way to get out to shop other than a quick trip to a local store. I really came to depend upon Amazon to give me the best product, price, and delivery. However; the last few orders have come very late, totally unacceptable in their performance, and consequently I will not order Green Mountain Coffee again as I live on a very limited budget and cannot afford to throw out $30 worth of coffee. I never had this problem with Coffee People and will try them again. I hope Amazon gets their act together and gets back to quality products, delivered quickly, and in perfect condition...and will address these issues with their customers instead of ignoring them. 2Bold This is a little strong for my liking, so I won't order it again, but if you like a nice bold coffee, you should try it. 4Simply the best ! How can you beat an organic fair trade coffee with excellent flavor? My sources tell me they use insecticides even in the coffee growing process. Though I don't pay for organic with most foods,with those I have daily, it only makes sense. This is my "steady Eddie" and most folks who try it agree it's one of GMCR's best products. I have no plans to change. I only wish it was offered in organic decaf for friends who want to avoid caffeine. 5K Cups Not Properly Sealed We liked this coffee; it tastes great, but sadly the K Cups were poorly sealed and leaked badly with almost every cup of coffee we made. It made an awful mess of our Coffee Machine and we just threw out the remaining cups. 2This could be my favorite Taste in coffee varies, just look at the reviews. :)I drink my coffee black and lean toward the dark roasts. Keep in mind that this is "Extra Bold" The "Bold" and "Extra Bold" K-cups will make a good 9.25-11.25 oz. "mug" of coffee. Some may be using the lower settings and that could explain why some think it is too strong and others get 2 cups of coffee from 1 pod.This was shipped by Amazon and service was great, as always. 5Strong, but bright This coffee is a wonderful coffee--I love strong coffee, and this fits the bill nicely. It is very strong, but not bitter--it has a nice, bright aftertaste. It is my regular morning brew. You might want to buy a less bold one, just for the changeup--this is probably not what you will want every time, but it is certainly well worth the purchase.Not to mention it is fair trade, which in and of itself makes the purchase a smart one. 4
