Best little grabber ever, east to west!When you are less than five feet tall, you need a tool that can reach what you need and hang on to it. Tips actually pick up and hold on to thin or tiny objects. Tried other reachers, they don't pick up or hold on very well, so this one is worth the price. One-handed squeeze grip quite secure on many objects, from grains of rice to heavy jugs on a top shelf. May need to tighten screws; don't step on the plastic handle or grabber arms, they do tend to break when abused. Saves me from falling in the washing machine while fishing for coins, alleviates fear of pain from repeated bending down to the floor, and allows me to reach things on high shelves or on top of the refrigerator. I often order two at a time, so I can always find one when I need it, or share them with my family. This is the best grabber I have seen and, my grandson thought it was a great toy when he was little! I would would tell anyone who is in need of one to get this one.5Grabber Buddy is great but the quality seems to have slipped.This grabber far exceeds any other reacher I have used. It is comfortable to hold and the rotating grabber feature is very helpful. It is also more durable and grips objects so you don't have to grab several times to pick up one item. It grasps well on almost any type of object. Lately the construction seems less sturdy. The screws come out very easily and I have to tighten them before using. The claws seem to snap very easily. Also, the handle loosens and then breaks open making the grabber useless. In spite of this, it is still my favorite grabber. Unfortunately, the grabber buddy only grabs things that are over 1/2 inch wide. Anything smaller, it cannot grab. So, it's a tool that fails to do the one thing it's designed to do. The tips are already a type of material that helps you grab very small things off the floor. It is also great for reaching cans from upper shelves. I've been using it for a couple of months now, and I really do like it. I have arthritis in my hands so this type of squeezing mechanism works best for me -- and this one works smoothly and with less effort than my other grabber.I'm planning to purchase a couple more of these to put in different rooms so I don't have to remember to carry it from one room to another. It has a robust construction, adequate contact grip, smooth action and a reasonable price.5Screws falling off handle on Grabber Buddy - Need Replacement!I purchased this item on December 26, 2018.Grabber Buddy Innovative Reacher Tool, White, Blue, Aluminum, 30 Inch. It was the 3rd one ordered due to losing two previous ones by failing to remove from the grocery store cart. Really a helpful tool for me in many ways.However, this one, today as I was reaching for something high, heard two items drop off on my kitchen floor. One was a screw and the other a nut that fell off the handle. Upon inspecting the handle, there were 2 open holes where apparently those have fallen out somewhere at some time and I was not aware of it until now.I was trying to e-mail Amazon on this, but seem unable to do so. Help, Please advise!4
