The packaging inside the box is just a big plastic bag, medium thickness.. but it's just folded over at the top; no tape, no heatseal, nothing. They would have gotten that fifth star if the product was actually sealed in some manner. (Not a fluke, this is my second purchase of this product). Unless you're a commercial baker and are going to use ten pounds of raisins all at once, it will benefit you to move these to better storage when you receive it. I've used my FoodSaver to vac seal them into one pound (two cup) pouches.4Great for adding texture and heat!I thoroughly enjoyed these crispy jalapenos. I like them more than the Frenches because they taste much less processed and over-seasoned with other ingredients. My favorite application is to make up a single-serving of rice, then stir in about 2 tablespoons of these to add some heat and texture. Paired with a steamed chicken breast, you have a very yummy meal that has crunch and heat and is very filling.5Great for snacks or toppingsThese are a great option for topping burgers, pizza, tacos, or for just plain snacking on. They're not very salty tasting and pack a decent amount of heat without being too spicy. You can usually find these at the grocery store, but the Amazon price is often a lot cheaper. So far I haven't received any that are near expiration date, but always check before you eat!If you're doing the low carb or keto thing, they are 3g carbs per serving, and a serving isn't very big, so use them in moderation.4Pepper Addicts BEWARE!!Do NOT buy this if you love jalapenos. You will eat an entire bag, and 500+ calories later, you'll eat another bag every day until there's a hole in your stomach or you are 500 lbs. These are SO addictive! I love love love peppers, anything spicy, would put Tabasco on my breakfast cereal if I could. So these little breaded, fried yummies are going to kill me. I seriously could eat two bags a day. UGH! I haven't even tried them as garnish/accents on salads or other dishes, I just MOW them straight from the bag! oink oink!5Delicious!These raisins are moist and plump and delicious. When they arrived, I divided them among four zip-lock bags and froze three. I have now finished all the bags (in an embarrassingly short time) and the frozen ones were just as good as those I ate fresh from the box. You can eat them frozen, I discovered, if like me you can't wait until they defrost.5Packaging is unsatisfactoryI have been buying these for years. The raisins themselves are good, however, in the past year, the packaging has changed and it now comes in one large plastic bag as opposed to four individual bags. Since I am not a restaurant, and simply buy these raisins for my family, although they love raisins, this size will last us months. I now have to repackage this one large box into several large glass jars in order to retain freshness. It is very inconvenient unless you are planning to use a HUGE amount of raisins in a short period of time. The packaging is so disappointing that I am now searching for another brand of Raisins.3FINALLY SOMETHING TO REPLACE THE EXTINCT DORITOS HABANERO CHIPSI am glad the bags are small, these are the best crunchy things in the world. It is impossible to not eat the whole bag once you start. The only thing comparable in a commercial bag was Doritos Habanero chips, they were hot enough that I could stop eating a huge bag of them before it was finished. But these have fewer calories less fat no sugar, and jalapenos are good for you. I am glad they do not sell or even ship them to Brasil!. So can only get them a few times a year when I go to the USA, but I can bring back a 32kg suitcase full. These are the best health food ever! I have not tried putting them on anything, too good to mask the flavor and heat rush! I lived in Veracuz, Mexico for over 20 years where jalapenos are grown. These are the next best thing to fresh jalape os for flavor, I have only been eating Jalape os for 48 years, so maybe there is something better out there, but I have not found it. Somebody said they would put Tabasco sauce on their breakfast cereal if they could. I do, instead of huevos a la mexicana, I put onions, celantro, tomatoes, and jalapenos on my steel cut oats! These crispy ones will now take the place of the ones in escebeche! Enjoy them and buy lots before someone takesthem off the market cuz we like them too much!! Or your new president bans their sail because they are Mexican and destroying the culture of peanunt butter and jelly sandwiches!5The box arrived with one strip of tape down the ...The box arrived with one strip of tape down the middle, so all edges were not sealed. The inner lining was not sealed or closed in any way, so the cranberries appeared to simply be scooped into the bag, and the bag placed in the box. There was no twist tie, no tape, no zip seal, nothing. Seems an unsanitary way to handle and send food.2Tasty; very low carb per volume>.. I originally found these at a local grocery store. What interested me was that they were relatively low-carb: 6g per Tablespoon (7g). 7 grams seems quite small, but the weight is of primarily dried cranberries, and it isn't uncommon to find 30 or so pieces, if you care to separate them to individual cranberries. When separated they look like grape skins left out in the sun, all day; shriveled, twisted, thin enough to see the sun through, but full of flavor. I use these as a snack with low-sodium almonds to make a sort of 'trail mix'. 1 oz of almonds and 1 Tbl of cranberries, eaten one at a time can be very filling, and definitely tasty. Not an every day snack, but then dried and resealed in their bag, these cranberries will last some time. I am very pleased to find a source, because when I went back, all the store offered was cranberries mixed with sweeter fruit like cherries, too high carb for me.5Mmmmn...These Thompson Seedless raisins are SO wonderful; their taste is delectable. If you gently and slowly suck on one of them lubricated with fresh sunflower oil, you will see what I mean. I typically slowly eat several early in the morning (sometimes I awake for the day as early as 2:30 am, lots to do,) as I enjoy my homemade Turkish cappuccino I make with my Phillipe Taglioni Frother, Mehmet Efendi Turkish Coffee, and my homemade organic almond milk sweetened even more with some Sugar in the Raw. I also add them to my homemade raisin bread, top ice cream and salads with them, all sorts of wonderful things. My spouse also eats them as candy in the mornings, usually on weekends. I like the large amount, I just jar them up in mason jars and vacuum seal them with my Foodsaver and a Foodsaver mason jar lid sealer attachment.5
