Good arch support that is adjustablePretty comfy inserts. They definitely have good arch support, and I like that you can adjust it with the removable pads. My only complaint was that they seemed to wear down really fast. I ve only had these about 2 months, & they are already worn down to the point where they need replaced. Overall, they were great at first but just wore down too fast. 4Replaced my custom orthotic with theseI replaced my custom orthotic which had become very old. These are provide great support. Unfortunately I later needed to add a metatarsal pad (which is difficult to get located properly on top of the orthotic. Would really like if they would provide the same orthotic with a built in metatarsal pad. Love the adjustment you can make to the arch and customer service provide lots of direction on how to break them in and adjust them as needed - BE SURE TO READ ALL THE INFO TO KEEP YOUR FEET FROM HURTING DURING ADJUSTMENT PERIOD. 5Try these before buying expensive shoes for bad feetI wish I'd known about these before I shelled out $130 for shoes marketed for "sore feet." These orthotics really help relieve my ball of foot pain and give great support to my arches. Definitely only fit in lace-up, fairly wide shoes, though. I wish FootChair would make a slightly narrower version for use in regular slip-on shoes. 5Love these! Comfortable, supportive, and adjustable.These orthotics are well made and come with extra pads that can be inserted for additional arch adjustment. I wear them every day during my daily 2-3 mile walk and they have held up well. They are washable and cost so much less than the extremely expensive arch supports that are advertised on TV. I tried the Good Feet orthotics but they made my knees and ankles hurt so I returned them. These FootChair orthotics were recommended online by several podiatrists and are working well to alleviate my plantar fasciitis pain. I'm very glad I found them. I just wish they had something that I could wear in my sandals. I wear women's size 9 wide and the 9 -10.5 C size fits perfectly in my shoes. 5These Orthotics are better than the overpriced ones I received from my podiatristMy husband order these for me after his experience with the set he purchased. These Orthotics are better than the overpriced ones I received from my podiatrist. I like the fact that they come with adjustable arch height option. As of yet I haven't needed them. Great product. 5Only use with roomy shoes - Arch support less than expected because of designI was so excited to get these. They arrived quickly and looked exactly like what is in the photos. These insoles do have a sturdy arch build-up, and the inserts (while a bit tricky to insert) are a plus. Here's where things went wrong. First, the insole is fairly thick at the thinnest part; when I put them into my combat-style boots, the top of my foot felt like it was going to burst through the laces. I also didn't want to stretch out my favorite flat-heeled boots. So, trying to be ingenious, I cut off the top of the insole down to below the pads of my feet, right before the arch begins. I re-inserted them into my boots. When I put my foot in, the fit was still tight on the upper arch, but tolerable. The regular insole didn't provide much support for my unusually high arches. Lucky me! They provided inserts! I had to go with the largest insert (called 'medium'), peel apart the very sticky layers, and break a sweat trying to get the insert to properly align with the edge of the insole. I re-inserted insole and foot again. Now, the top of my foot near the arch and ankle are screaming to break through my laces, so I loosened the strings. Much better. I felt a fair amount of arch support. However, the outer part of the insole (fabrication/design error?) is built up fairly high, almost defeating the purpose of a decent arch support. I tried them for a day and found that my feet were rolling inward more than they did without the insoles. My ankle were also a bit sore at the end of the day. If you are looking for arch support in cute shoes, these may not be for you. Great ideas built into the product, but it seems to need more fine-tuning. I wear a size 10, and the insole's length did fit nicely into my lace-up boots. 2They definitely work great, can tell a huge difference because sometimes I ...The balls of my feet are about 90% less sore now with these in. With them in, I can go all day. think they have also slightly corrected my big toe alignment. But didn t actually measure, just visually. Might need to order a second or third set so I don t have to keep swapping between shoes. 5Finally......some relief!I have really awful feet. Bunions, hammertoes, painful heals- if there is something wrong with feet, I ve got it. Over the years, podiatrists have given me arch supports, recommended bunion surgery, talked me out of expensive orthotics and really done nothing to help at all. I ve just carried on and learned to live with the pain. I decided to give these FootChair orthotics a try and, boy, am I glad I did! I followed the breaking in instructions exactly. I usually have to massage the big toe joint every night in order to be able to fall asleep but, since wearing these, that is totally unnecessary. What a relief. The recommendation is to wear them with tied athletic shoes, so dressing up requires wearing a regular flat shoe, but knowing that I ll get relief when I wear my athletic shoes is just fine with me. I highly recommend these orthotics and I might just have some of the most painful feet you can imagine. 5Enjoy walking again.I'm extremely pleased with the FootChair Orthotics. Can't believe that I never heard of them previously; with them walking is again a pleasure. I would suggest that you include directions as to which insert should be tried first - the larger or the smaller. I tried the larger and within 10 minutes knew that I didn't need an insert. Great product! 5Ideal for work shoes on hard floor surfaces.I purchased these for a pair of shoes I was using while working a seasonal retail job. I have high arches, (my footprint looks like someone slapped toes on a banana), so at the end of an eight hour shift the balls of my feet and my heels were really taking a beating. It's a process of acclimating your feet to the inserts, so expect to spend a week or two before you're going to notice a difference, but the manufacturer provides really good email support during the breaking in period. Make no mistake, it is going to feel weird for the first week or so, and this is before you start putting the adjustable pads in to match your arch. It's kind of like standing on a log for a few hours. Odd as it feels, though, it works like a charm for stopping your pain.After the break-in period, I was able to wean myself off Aleve, and while my feet were still a little sore at the end of a shift, it was nothing like "straight to bed, hopped up on painkillers with an ice pack strapped to each foot" feeling I got before trying these. After three months, I felt comfortable enough in these to scale two-story shelving units and pallet stacks. We're going on six months now, and I've started actually removing the soles of other shoes so I can pop these inserts in if I'm going for a walk, etc. These turned a $20 pair of Champion no-slip work shoes into a decent pair of orthotics. I would definitely recommend them.By comparison, I was one of the many who spent way too much on those Dr. Schole's "custom orthotics". These feel better. They're also a far cry cheaper than the "Good Feet Store" and it's $1500.00 insert +maintenance package, which near as I can tell is exactly the same result. If you've got high arches, this is a really nice solution to your constant achy feet. 5
