Protective Support with Trim Inconspicuous DesignJust bought my third one. Love it!It gives enough protective support with flexibility to wear throughout the work day. It's smaller profile makes it less obstrusive and more comfortable. As other reviewers have noted it does start to fray after daily wear, but I just relegate it to yard work. I have several different styles of wrist support, and this is my favorite for daily wear as it's easier to take off to wash hands, and so comfortable.I wear a longer more rigid brace to sleep with, but this is perfect for protective support.5Great product for the pain reliefI almost forgot to write a review -my bad. You know why? I don't have the pain and don't wear it right now. It actually worked to resolve 100% of the pain. I had not had it in years then suddenly it comes back because I was holding my arm at the wrong angle while doing a long project at the computer. I also added a tennis elbow strap and the combo resolved the issue but now I have it close by for emergency. Definitely must have item if you work on a computer. NOTE: - this version allows you to work normal- the other styles hinder movement in fingers.5It may work better for someone with larger hands/wristsI have very small hands and wrists. I am 5'2' and about 110#. I wear a size 4 ring on my ring finger, just to give you an idea of my size. This brace is way too big for me and does not offer any support. It just slips around and bunches up. It may work better for someone with larger hands/wrists.2Very good for someone whose hands or wrists are starting to hurtYears ago, I had a keyboard at work with a very heavy touch, and it was not long before I noticed I had the start of some sort of repetitive stress problem. I replaced my keyboard and mouse, and after a couple months of protecting myself with the Ergodyne Proflex Wrist Supports I was "back to normal." Well, a few months ago my problem flared up again and I needed some more for use at home. Fortunately, I found the same model that had worked well for me before here at an Amazon partner store. The new units have only changed in color (from light blue to gray) and work and feel the same. I am pleased with their performance.My one piece of advice is to get them a little larger than you think your hand size may be. In other words, if you think you are "medium" but don't know for sure, you are probably safer getting the "large." In any event, the product is adjustable, so fit should not be an issue, although it is a little easier to adjust them "smaller" than "larger," which is another reason I recommend getting them a little large if you are in doubt.5Used these for over 10 yearsI was first introduced to these by a coworker over 10 years ago. I do office jobs, sit in front of a computer typing and mousing all day for hours everyday, these are super awesome at helping me not get carpel tunnel. My old pair had been used almost daily for over 10 years, and they are still holding together. But just in case I bought another pair for when my old pair eventually breaks. For the price I really can't complain.5Great wrist support. Check sizing.Based on a previous review I decided that I would get the larger size since I always thought I had a large wrist for a woman, but now I wish I had bought the medium. My wrist measures 7" so maybe that will help you decide. For me the sizing makes the support fall in the wrong place and the thumb loop too loose. However it is not too hot and still allows me to type and my wrist pain was gone in 24 hours. I'm rating it five stars because I think the right size would be perfect.5the best workout braceThe absolute best for working out. Lightweight, low profile, provides essential sturdy brace to keep wrist from bending but otherwise maximum flexibility of motion. Easy to wash and let dry every day, gap design of stiff plastic brace on inside/underside ensures you are not pressing on the nerve and velcro wrap and thumb cut is adjustable enough for small hands (3" across from top of thumb to end of palm) and wrists (6") like mine with out major alternations (technically could stand to take in the thumb loop a bit but the wrist strap can help compensate for that since I was too lazy to do some simple sewing on it to take it in a smidge.)For everyday use, I prefer the ossur exoform.5It Works!Hand kept me awake every night. First night I wore this brace, I never felt my hand fall asleep again. I do have Carpal Tunnel syndrome and every night after an hour of laying down and going to sleep, The numbness and pain would wake me up and keep me awake for long periods of time. I bought my 97 year old mom one and waiting for her report! I highly recommend this brace for anyone who is having problems with hands falling asleep.5Comfortable but falling apart after only one weekIt lasted all of one week before the fabric separated from the rubber around the thumb because there is no stitching for reinforcement on any of the edges, they're only spray glued. And beware of their sizing. I purchased a medium based on my wrist size (6"-7") and I cannot remove them without completely undoing the clasp because my hands just will not fit through them.1LOVE, my fave wrist support cos type for hours every day.LOVE LOVE LOVE. Support where I need it without being heavy, clunky or uncomfortable. I purchased one a few years ago. I was talking to someone and realized it was cracked. Time for a new one. Keeping the other as backup.I type and make computer art like crazy. I'm a fast typist and on computer for hours every day. Since 1987. THIS model works wonders! Best to use regularly. But sometimes I don't. Then when my wrist gives me the slightest pain, it's back on. Now that I have a new one, I'll wear it more often.I've tried a TON from local drug stores. Nothing compares to this! It's comfy, unobtrusive, doesn't interfere with my typing nor get too hot like others. What's not to love!5
