I think it is somewhat luck of the draw because every coffee I have purchased has had glowing reviews, which is the reason I bought them in the first place. Many of the coffees I have tried turned out to be complete busts for me - I found them undrinkable and someone else thought it was the best they had ever had. So I've learned to take all that into account and be prepared to deal with the disappointment if it turns out bad. I am pleased to report that THIS coffee lived up to the reviews and I will be buying it regularly going forward. It is deep and rich without being bitter, wonderful aroma both in the bag and brewed, and is organic fair trade which is a must for me. I think it is superb and will order it as long as it is available. This coffee seems to turn over frequently in Amazon's stock, which is a good thing since it is normally quite fresh when it arrives. I have had other brands that were so stale they were completely tasteless. I think you can buy this with confidence you are getting a very flavorful and fresh organic coffee at a good price with Amazon.5Five StarsI love this coffee!!!5
