updated my review -- excellent productIn fairness to the manufacturer of this product (EpiSport), I continued to adjust/try this epicondylitis clasp -- and, with hat in hand, I discovered that this is indeed a useful and high quality product for golfer's elbow. After many trial and error attempts to use different straps under different conditions, I must now admit that EpiSport's clasp is the best all-around golfer's elbow support item -- it does not slip or get uncomfortable during hot weather. Further, it gave me more long-term relief than the other straps. (I stopped noticing that I was even wearing this item; a testament to its comfort and utility.) Frankly, I did not give this elbow support enough time or a fair shake prior to my initial (rather critical review). Please note -- no one contacted me to change my opinion. I was reviewing my old submissions and noticed that this one indeed required an update. While I also like Cho-Pat's golfer's elbow support strap, EpiSport's strap is my favorite.5StrengtheningI play racquetball several times a week, and have tennis elbow. I always wear this band while playing, and in my daily life when I am lifting. I feel it definitely helps with pain and mobility. I would highly recommend for others with similar issues.5Ok, but...I'll still give this 4 stars because it has worked well for so many other people. It did not work for me personally. It actually hurt my elbow. This may have been a size issue because my forearms are large since I work out. Measure the area two inched down away from your elbow (toward your forearm) NOT your elbow itself.4Unfortunately a Cheap ImitationThis is not the padded cuffs with a pressure-point bump to place over a tendon to prevent overuse and allow the tendon to heal. It's two layers of stiff plastic that compress the arm like a tourniquet. You will PAY to return it, so my recommendation is not to buy it, especially if you're expecting the original product that worked so well. If you do buy it, sizing seems a little off; measure your forearm and then add an inch to get your correct size.1really helpsBought this for my partner who has been batteling "tennis elbow" all summer. This has really helped relieve the pain. It helps stabilize the muscles so that she does not continue to strin them when she is doing things. We have found that it will cause bruising if it is too tight or if it is worn to long. Just because it feels better you still need to excersize the muscles and use hot and cold thearpy. It has been a very good product. If you are suffering with this kind of injury I highly reccomend this band.5Very Effective Against "Bowlers Elbow"To my amazement, the product has been very effective in eliminating the pain and discomfort from my Bowlers Elbow. I can now return to bowling several times a week.The only caution is to make sure you get a size big enough for your arm. It's comfortable as well (given it's on a sore arm).Highly recommend this to anyone having a tennis or golfer's elbow issue5A great brace.I've had tennis elbow in my right arm for about 2 yrs. and have tried different treatments for it with limmited success. After my last session of physicial therapy I got this brace and started wearing it most of the day. I continue to do streatches and use a Thera Band Flex Bar and am seeing good results. I'm very happy with this product. I've tried other braces and like this one the best. It does'nt move around as much as other types of braces and it fits under a long shirt sleve. After 2 wks. I've seen some fraying on the strap. You do need to know what your forearm measurement is about 1.5 to 2 inches below the elbow so you can order the correct size. A med. fits 10-11 in. forearm, lg. fits 11-12 in. ect.5Worked greatWorked as described. I found it to be more comfortable & effective than the other straps I purchased.5
