great pf arch supporti ordered these specifically because of other reviews that mentioned how firm they are, and they really are! (i can feel them, like a big squishy river rock in my shoe, aware but not at all painful). i ve tried 3/4 insoles and other gel inserts to help w my self-diagnosed plantar fasciitis. the 3/4 insoles help w the pain but my heel would slip out from my shoe, and the gel inserts made no difference because they were too thin and compressed. but these are working great so far because of the height and firmness to support my arch, without my heel slipping. they seem to be adhering fine to a pair of leather insoled sandals and a pair of synthetic insoled flats. if they continue to work, i m buying more for my other shoes w non-replacable insoles so i dont tempt fate moving them from shoe to shoe. (might even re-buy those super cute strappy heels i returned for abysmal arch support!) 5These arch supports aren't my favorite but the company is super helpful!These arch supports weren't high enough to reach my high arches, but when I told Dr. Fredrick's I didn't like them they worked with me to find one of their products I would like and sent me that product instead! 4These are great!Finally an arch support that is tall enough to support my high arches!! They do seem hard at first but they soften up with the heat from your foot and are comfortable all day. 5Perfect size!I originally gave these a bad review because I thought they were too small. I took a picture of my foot with two gels on one foot to show that I was doubling up. But I went to work today and two were waaayy to big, so I used one on each foot and it was perfect!! I m a server and I m on my feet all day. Just this week I worked for 15 hours straight with no break. These are wonderful! Thank you. ;) 2From m'eh to ouch!I have high arches. Finding inserts that can accommodate and support my high arches is really hard. Dr. Scholl's foot-mapped orthotics are the best I've been able to find. I was so excited when I saw these. I placed them in my shoe and, at first, I thought they would be a game-changer for me. However, after a while, they just started to hurt my feet. If they were bigger (all around), they'd be great. But, because they're so small, they just end up feeling weird. The search continues. 2Firm but squishyI have flat feet and absolutely need a good arch support. I really liked these because they are firm but not too firm. You can squish your finger into them but they hold up when you step on them. I've tried a lot of arch supports that basically just crush down when I take a step and then I get back pain. The other nice thing about these arch supports is you can stick them on top of another insert. I've also done this with heel supports and its reduced my pain from walking and standing. Standing still kills my back. Standing in long lines is the worst and I've noticed that with proper feet support it's a lot more tolerable.These are so easy to use and each pair is in it's own little bag, inside a bigger bag. You just peel and stick. I've had to adjust mine a tad but they stay stuck and don't float around in my shoe. They also give you a 20% coupon off another product called arch support gels that wrap around your foot. I have not tried that product yet but it looks like it would work well too. 4Perfect for wide feet and high arches!TL;DR - They are a 5 star product for me. Perfect fit for my wide feet with high arches but may be too thick for smaller feet. Adhesive is good. Clear gel is not noticable in slingback heels.--I am currently breaking in a pair of 4" high slingback wedges for an upcoming vacation and the first thing I noticed when I put the shoes on for the first time was that there was a pinching pain in my arch. I spend most of my time barefoot these days so the mild PF that I have doesn't really flare up anymore, but I could feel that these shoes would cause significant pain in the future. They are open on the sides and so provide no arch support on top of being high heels. But they are so cute, I bought them anyway and set out to find some arch supports.It's important to note that I also have size 9.5, true wide width feet with a very high arch and instep (deadly combo for any normal shoes), as in I can't wear most fashion sandals because my instep is too high, and sneakers don't provide enough arch support ever.These arch support gels are very thick and taper out pretty wide. They conform to my high arch and wide foot like a DREAM, but if you have dainty feet I can definitely see these not working for you.I slid them into my wedges without taking off the adhesive backing and played with the placement while walking around until I found the best place to relieve that pinching in my foot - which turns out to be pretty far forward in my arch, tucking in just behind the joint of my big toe. Even given how far forward I placed the gels, they are still large enough to provide adequate support to my arch.Once I found the correct placement, they absolutely melt into the shoe and I can't even feel that they're there. They are a little hard at first but your feet warm them up and they conform to your foot so nicely that you forget there's anything there and these high heels are your new favorite shoes.The transparent clear gel is not at all noticable in my open-sided slingback wedges, which I appreciate very much.The adhesive is more than adequate so far. I was able to peel them back off of the shoe and adjust once or twice without compromising the stickiness. Do make sure that you smooth them onto the sole of your shoe so that there aren't any air bubbles trapped under there and you'll get a good solid stick. 5Certainly helps those with higher arches.I ve got fairly high arches and wear 2-3 heels 8-16 hrs a day for work. No amount of insoles and inserts help support my arches except these. They have certainly helped but would like to see just a couple of modifications and I d give it a 5 star review.First off, the adhesive is useless. No matter how well you clean the surface with alcohol they will only last a few hours. Ok, no big deal, it held long enough to determine where I want them to be and then use contact cement, but I know others would give a horrible review because of that. Secondly, if they used a slightly softer gel to more completely form to the arch space I wouldn t stop raving about this product, but overall I m pleased. 4It really works well.These are great. Put them in my flats and also a two inch heel open toe shoe. It really gives that extra support that I wanted and needed. My arch is not extremely high but had that gap that needed to be filled. Would buy this again when needed in the future. 5These are great!I have high arches and severe plantar faciitis. My foot hurts even when I am not on them! I am going to have to get foot surgery next year. These do not cure me, but they help. Placing support under my arches takes some of the pressure off of my heels. They will not stick to your shoes or your insoles, so I stuck them directly to the bottom of my feet. They stay in place and could be used with flops. Flops are really out of the question with the foot problem I have, but now I might be able to wear flops with these on in the summer time. I like them! My only suggestion would be to make them even more thick for those with high arches and plantar faciitis. 4
