Great product not full of fillersI like that the product is truly what it says and not a bunch of fillers. It is safe for a celiac. The product was shipped timely and protected well for transport. 5Be a good swallower though!These buffered vitamin C tablets were excellent for the price. I had stopped taking C for a while because I had serious gastric issues last year and didn't really know about the buffered aspect. My immune system is somewhat compromised after a couple of surgeries and several procedures and I felt it was time to come back to C. These do not upset my stomach at all and I am taking 2000 mg daily. I don't think I am imagining that I feel a bit better for taking them.The only problem that arises is that these tablets are quite large and even though they are coated, you need to be a good swallower to get them down. I have other tablets to take and take them all at one time, but I take these one tablet at a time. Nothing worse that getting a pill caught in your throat or not going down right.All in all, these are great value and I will continue to take them. 4Ingredients NOT as listed.I m sure this is a fine product. However, the ingredients listed on Amazon (in the photos) do NOT match the ingredients of the product delivered. The list on Amazon does not contain sunflower. The product delivered contains sunflower lecithin. A family member has a serious allergy to sunflower that causes anaphylaxis. Fortunately I did not rely on the ingredients list on amazon and read the label before allowing her to consume the product. Again ... probably a fine product, but ... this is a serious mistake that cannot happen. Hopefully after this review the company will insure ingredients listed are ingredients delivered in all products. 1These upset my stomach and gave me diarrheaI've been taking 1000 mg of buffered vitamin C from a different brand for several months without any issues, but I decided to try this brand because it's a better deal.I was fine the first day. But after the second day I had a horrible upset stomach and diarrhea. It was so bad I almost had to go home from work.I didn't think it was caused by the pills since I have been taking the other brand without any issues, but I still stopped taking them for a couple days just in case, and I got better. So then I tried taking them again. First day, no problems. Second day, the same thing happened.I'm switching back to my other brand. I wish I could return these! 1This is NOT the same as the "Buffer C" product ...This is NOT the same as the "Buffer C" product, which is pH controlled and non-acidic. This one just has calcium and magnesium added to supposedly offset the acid. It doesn't. I can't take these without getting heartburn. 1THIS BUFFERED VITAMIN C IS EASY ON YOUR GUT.What a great product-- buffered so it's not acidic, 1000 MG so you just can take one, and slow-dissolving so you receive its nutrients gradually. Plus, it still comes in a glass jar. Ever! 5Great StuffI've been using country life buffered Vitamin C for over a year. I have noticed that my skin has looked clearer, smoother, and very vibrant. Also my digestive issues have improved rapidly from initially taking Vitamin C. I started taking 3,000mg a day and gradually worked my tolerance up to 8,000mg (pill form) and 2,000mg (liposomal Vit. C) a day without any side effects (upset stomach, gas, etc.) I wished I had educated myself on the potent benefits of Vitamin C years ago. Its great to not have to suffer thru the winter seasons with flu, cold and cough while everyone around me is taking off work to recuperate. 5LOVE THESE C'S!I have searched grocery stores, health food stores, GNC and like stores, and the Internet for 1000 Mg time release buffered Vitamin C coated tabs (for ease in swallowing) and have had only a little luck. The sources I found were either not easily obtainable on a regular basis or the tabs were not coated and were difficult to swallow or I couldn't find any info on the manufacturer or where they were made. Country Life C's have been consistent in their quality, are mfg'd in USA, use a light inhibiting and non-porous recyclable brown glass bottle, have been in business since 1971, and provide a 250 count bottle which is less expensive per tab than smaller bottles. I use them to fight off infections, colds, allergy symptoms and for healthy skin. Love these C's!Update: As of June 2018 I am still buying and loving these Vitamin C's! 5This is the only vitamin C I can take without ...This is the only vitamin C I can take without my mouth breaking out into cancer sores! I'm told it's the acid I'm sensitive to?? Since I started taking these about a year ago I have been leaps and bounds healthier than the year before. Granted, I've changed a ton about my diet and vitamin/minerals/probiotic intake. But I belive this vitamin C has kept me healthy. And I'll also mention that I'm the mother of two preschoolers who carry around a plethora of germs at all times! 5
