Difficult to dispense.My only reason giving this a two star is because of the challenge it is to squeeze the coconut oil out of the tube. I like the product but not this travel ready tube.2I love this productI love this product. I have this oil on auto shipMonthly because we go through at least two tubes a month. Not only does is smell delicious, the packaging is great and it travels well. I read the reviews with people complaining that they can t get the oil out of the tube. Any true coconut oil will solidify in cooler temperatures. Simply run the tube under warm water to liquefy it. You can also use a q-tip if there is a solid piece of oil clogging it up.5Great coco oil Love this coco oil especially Bc daughter has but allergies and this is not processed anywhere near anything with nuts. 5Works well in the spring and summerI couldn't find a body lotion that didn't leave me feeling icky, so I decided to give this product a try. I've always hated using lotion because after minutes of applying, I would feel icky and have to wash it off. I was pleasantly surprised because this product does not leave that dimethicone film that I so hate. The coconut oil is moisturizing, if not, more moisturizing than lotion. I would repurchase.I do want to point out that the coconut oil does solidify or liquify quite easily - so I can see it working well in the spring and summer, but difficult to use in the fall and winter. Also, for the price, you could probably buy 2 jars of coconut oil at the grocery store, but hey, the company supports good causes and there is enough in the tube to justify the cost.Update:Two months and two tubes ... I love this product! The last two months that I have been using this coconut oil, I have not used lotion, and I have to say, my skin has never been better. Prior to using this coconut oil, I was using Tata Harper's Revitalizing Body Oil ($110), and for me, Conscious Coconut has proven much more nourishing than Tata Harper.4Excellent product and service!!! I've substituted my hair oils for this because its way healthier for your hair. A little bit goes a long which is awesome. So a tiny tiny bit for the ends or you'll be a grease ball! But I often put a lot from root to tip and bun it during the day then wash out and it's an awesome hair mask5Beautiful packaging... but it ends there.Beautiful packaging, great potential. But I agree with other reviews- there's probably a reason other companies don't put their coconut oil in a tube. It's obviously hard at room temperature, which I knew before purchasing, but even after running the tube under warm water for a few minutes and relentlessly kneading, it's still quite hard to get it out of the tube. This means I'm not likely to carry it in my bag to use on the go, and if I'm only using it at home I might as well use coconut oil out of a jar. Bummer all around.2Packaging looks good, oil is grainy & hard to get outI was really excited about this because the packaging looks great! However, it's really hard to get out--I don't think an oil that turns solid at room temperature should be in a tube (there's probably a reason why everyone else puts it in a jar!). The hole is quite small too, so I have to really knead it to get it out! My biggest problem is that even after I have melted the oil into liquid format on my hand, it's still super grainy, which is really disappointing because Trader Joes coconut oil doesn't have a single grain in it and is a fraction the price. I wouldn't purchase this again, although I unfortunately got another one for xmas.3It just works.I have been using Conscious Coconut Oil for a year. It's a great product and a great value. I use it at night as a moisturizer, on the ends of my hair to de-frizz, on sunburn, on my cuticles, and when I have a psoriasis flare up. Occasionally, I use it for oil pulling, which is great for gum health. It's totally clean -no preservatives, chemicals, etc. - so I never hesitate to use it. I even used it on a flight to Europe to keep my skin hydrated. It works immediately as a moisturizer, and has really kept psoriasis at bay. I recommend putting it in a plastic sandwich bag if traveling, and opening carefully, because it does become liquid at room temperature. If it's cooler than that, have a bobby pin handy to poke into opening if it gets clogged. Hey, it's the real deal! Just coconut, and all fantastic!5Travel necessity and the ultimate multi-taskerThis product makes traveling so easy. I use coconut oil for everything- hair, skin, lips, sunburns, rashes, cuts, cooking, coffee... and the list goes on. Before conscious coconut oil I had to travel with bunch of different products that just took up space in my carryon and always put me dangerously over the limit. This tube does the work of 10. Not very user friendly. The quality of the product is good. 3Hard to use while travelingThe packaging is cute, but oil that solidifies at room temperature is not a good idea for a tube. While traveling, I don't always have time to let the tube sit under warm water to liquefy, as it's not instantaneous inside of a heavy duty tube. Once it's in a liquid state, the top part of the tube where the hole is, isn't liquefied, so it plugs and when you push on the tube, the oil spurts out causing a mess. In order to save time I poured the oil into a twist lock container that I now use easily. The idea is great, but it's not practical for those who travel alot.1You're paying for the box it comes in.I bought this for traveling because I use coconut oil to remove my makeup before I use cleanser. The problem that I have with this product stems from the fact that it solidifies rock hard and makes it literally impossible to squeeze out. The packaging completely failed in this situation because the hardest part of the tube, where the product comes out, makes it so even if you're warming it up with your hands or whatever, the coconut oil forms a plug that can't be squeezed out. After trying and trying to get it to unclog/liquify, my fianc squeezed it too hard and the wrong end popped open, so I had to throw it away, still 3/4 of the way full. The coconut oil itself wasn't smooth, it had a gritty texture anyway. I wish I would have just brought my normal liquid oil with me and stayed away from this. You're paying for the packaging, the box it came in and the cutesy tube, which failed. I thought the box was incredibly pointless and wasteful, totally opposite of whatever "mission" they claim to strive for. The whole company seems incredibly pretentious.1Product does not come out of tube without blowing it upThe product does not come out of the tube without blowing up the side of the packaging. On first use two holes about a half inch each opened on the side of the tube, rendering the product unusable. I received no answer after multiple attempts to contact the company. Do not buy this product, you will be so sorely disappointed.1Almost perfect Finally a travel container that doesn't leak! I wish the hole was larger because even when the oil inside is liquid, the hole is usually clogged. I have to use a bobby pin every time to get it started. Other than that, I love it! So much better than using my own containers that always leak during travel. I wouldn't use this at home on a regular basis, because of the clogging, but it's great for travel! 4LOVEI've used coconut oil for a few years as a moisturizer, but this brand really leaves my skin feeling moisturized without the greasiness. So glad I tried this product! I'll definitely be ordering more, as this has already become part of my daily skincare routine.5Stays solidI usually buy Kopari but thought I would give this a try. In the store, it came out easily with a nice consistency. At home, it has stayed solid as a rock at room temp. To warm it up, I put it near the vent in my bathroom. What happens then is when you open it, a small amount of straight up liquid streams out while the rest still stays solid. It s such a mess! Sticking with Kopari.2
