Feeling the results within my first week of use!I was on the computer working a lot without taking enough breaks, resulting in severe RSI (repetitive strain injury). I have been dealing with this pain for about 2 months, maybe more, without any relief. I tried an ergonomic mouse, new chairs, all types of different set ups. No relief at all. Even after all of this I continued looking for different ways to strengthen my hands/wrists so that I could get back to working and out of pain. I found out about this product by watching a youtube video. I immediately ordered it, excited by the possibility of finally feeling better and able to start working again. After using the light purple ball and the yellow silicone/rubbers finger straps for about a week straight (once a day with 50 reps per hand), I FINALLY felt a difference! My grip feels stronger, but also my extensors feel stronger as well. In just one week my overall hand strength has improved as well. Lastly, my hand feels like its balanced in a way that I have never felt before. I'm very eager to continue using this product and I hope to work my way up to e the highest resistance slowly, but surely. 5What a life saver! Excellent findSo helpful with strengthening my forearm and finger extensors. This has done wonders on my frequency and intensity of finger flexor pain and cramps. Comes with 2 sets of bands for all 3 types of resistence, as well as 3 types of stress ball firmness. For this price, this is a truly wonderful thing to use while you're watching TV or even adding after your gym routine. It can be used for beginners and athletes, both will benefit. This product is definitely something I would recommend to a friend with flexor forearm/finger pain from overactivity, carpal tunnel patients, or even to strengthen muscles back after suffering from a stroke. What an amazing find, so glad I bought 2 though, so I can work each hand simultaneously. Let me know if you have any questions about it, would be glad to answer them. 5The best stregthing thingMy PT has these and I ordered them they help with strengthening they are also helpful with carpal tunnel (spelling) I Type for work and these have been so helpful with the pains that come from it 5Excellent for rehab or building strength...Broke and dislocated my elbow in a fall---my brother had been through the same (multiple times, unfortunately)--called him for some advice about how to rehab and get both strenght and range of motion back---he suggested working with various stress balls and rubberbands, as that is what he had done...looks like somebody thought it was a great idea and had the ingenuity to market---these are great and definitely help build hand/finger/arm strength...great for rehab or for just building strength (guitar/keyboard players!) 5I had a Stroke and needed something good to help my left hand get betterI had a Stroke and needed something good to help my left hand get better. This would be ideal, BUT, the plastic finger holes are way way too tight, and hurt my fingers! I don't have the smallest fingers, but they're not chubby either! I wear a size 9 ring. But I can't imagine any man being able to use these comfortably. Maybe a teenage boy. I donated these to my OT therapist, for her patients with small fingers. I wish these had bigger finger holes! This seems like exactly what I need!! 2Great therapy so far!Just received this yesterday,so have just started using it on the lowest resistance. Had surgery for carpal tunnel and a trapezectomy in my right thumb almost two years ago. Was able to use my thumb again after 4 months of thearapy,which was great, but still had minor pain and stiffness. Although I have only done 6 sets of exercises since I got it yesterday, my thumb seems less painful today. Considering I open childproof bottles of medications all day for a living, this is a big plus for me! I'm hoping the exercises will help the pain in my left elbow as well since there are different exercises you can do to help your wrist and elbow . There are 3 different resistance balls and 3 different resistance bands, so you can adjust the resistance in many ways. Several exercises are described in the instructions . They explain what each exercise is best for strengthening fingers, hands, wrists,forearms, and elbows. There is also a website given for more exercises if you need them. All in all a great therapy tool for the price. Can't wait to see how things improve as I progress to higher resistance! 5A quick, easy 'fix' for forearm pain.I work on a computer all day... and lift weights several times per week. I had started having pain in my upper forearm, probably keyboard and mouse related. And I had kind of given up on fixing it, I just assumed it was tendinitis... and if a took it easy for a while it would get better. It didn't. I spoke to someone at the gym and he suggested that I had an 'imbalance' in my forearm muscles and needed to strengthen the 'extensor' muscles to bring them back into balance. I started using the medium band on the medium ball, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Probably only doing 20-30 repetitions, just enough so I feel some fatigue in the muscle. Within a week or so the pain in my upper forearm lessened and disappeared completely within another week or two. I still use the device, not as frequently. But I am very pleased with the results. 5Worthwhile Product With Some Minor ModificationsAs a guitar player and an individual that works out quite frequently, I have developed muscle imbalance because of constant use of hand and wrist flexors. I purchased this product to bring balance back to these muscles by working the extensor musculature, which so often go neglected due to the nature of gripping related tasks in my daily and recreational activities. This product has worked well, but for me it is slightly limited in its ability to provide optimal extensor muscle activation due to its design. Primarily, the 3rd and 4th digits (middle, ring fingers) due not receive an equal distribution of resistance compared to the other digits. I have had to adjust the placement of the where I place my fingers within the resistance band rings to create proper tension throughout the hand. I imagine that others would also have to adjust the placement of the resistance band rings due to variations in hand size. Overall, a worthwhile product for improving muscle balance within the hand with the adjustments I have described. 4This is amazing for guitar playersThis is amazing for guitar players. I have had wrist pain on the top of my wrist for quite some time. It has been on and off for years and I haven't had a way to fix it. I saw this and thought i'd try it. Typically I have to wait a few months for my wrist and hand pain to subside before playing guitar again, but after using this for one week, one-3 sets of 10-12 reps per day and my wrist and hand pain subsided. I'm back to playing and now use this regularly for warm up. I love it! 5Well made, compact and beneficialBought this product to help with finger and wrist fatigue and to help build strength in hands, fingers and forearms. They are well made, easy to take on and off, and I bought the package that gives you three different intensities, which are noticeably different and allows you a progression path as you build strength. Watch the Youtube videos on how to position the bands and how to remove them as it makes more sense than the written directions that come with the product, which are sparse. (You should hold the little tab on the bands with one hand as you insert/remove your fingers and thumb of the other hand. This holds the band more stable and prevents it from rolling.) Youtube videos also give you a number of different exercise options that add interest and variety. I'm pleased with the product as it gives good finger, wrist, forearm and even bicep/tricep and shoulder strengthening depending on which exercises you do. After use it feels like my hands and fingers are much less stiff and heavy feeling. I will likely order another set of these so I can have two hand exercisers of the same intensity to use at the same time. With one set, I use the light and medium intensity balls, and then switch hands for the different sets. 5
