Kent O. 5Very Pretty, great lenses, but not durable.Historically readers have lasted me several years , normally being changed out only when I need to up the strength. I use them to knit, read, and eat. No roughhousing. I have gone through 2 pair of these in a year. The same thing happened to both. The plastic into which the right hinge is embedded on the temples cracked and the hinges slid out. They are very pretty and I get a lot of compliments, but ended up with little bang for the buck. If they were $5.00, I'd say go for it, but not at the price I paid ($16.95). They are made by Calabria whose products I have been using for 10 years with little trouble. These glasses, as pretty as they are, fell short. 3High Five to the Customer Service Dept.The frames and the case are a delight, but the quality of the lenses themselves was substandard; HOWEVER...after emailing Speert International about my displeasure with the product and my intent to donate them to charity since they were very inexpensive. Speert unexpectedly issued me a full refund including shipping, without me even asking for one, and they were happy to have the product donated! That's the second half of great customer service (the first half being a good product). Way to go Speert International - I'll give you another try. 3Bad color.The color is awful. I bought them because they're 4.00 which has been impossible to find in my area. I tried painting the rims with nail polish and would send them back but I lost the packing information.
