Using a soft, flexible tape measure, find the circumference just below your chest, under your sternum. Size L fits 36 - 42. If you have BROAD SHOULDERS (most men) or are BETWEEN SIZES, please ORDER THE NEXT SIZE UP.
You will need help putting on this posture correcting harness, which shouldnt be too difficult thanks to its simple Velcro closures that allow for easy application and adjustment.
Felt back pad & thick padded straps offer comfort and support for daytime or nighttime wear under or over clothing.
This back brace is indicated for fractured clavicles, poor posture, and collarbone breaks and pain treatment.
Figure 8 splint doubles as a posture trainer promotes straight, upright posture by gently pulling your shoulders back.

Best I could findThis brace was recommended by a friend who also had just broken his clavicle. This one is well-padded, durable and very sturdy - I recommend it, too. Despite what the instructions say, it washed well in my laundry washer and dryer. Like all of these braces, it requires help to get the strap velcro secured. It seemed to work very well to stabilize my 20cm displaced broken clavicle - much better than the flimsy arm sling I was given at the hospital emergency room following the bike crash. 5Helped me finish the Ironman Bike SectionPerfect after a collarbone surgery for road biking. The ones the doctor prescribe some kind advance aeroplane sling, is of no use. And when I realize they are going to charge $2100 for this kind of pillow sling, I returned it, and bought this one. After 2 weeks of the clavicle bone surgery, I wore this one and started my workout for Ironman on the bike trainer. After 8 weeks of surgery, I did finish the Ironman Louisville, and this is great for the road bike. Did the 112 mile bike ride in 6 hours 30 min with minimum pain. The brace definitely helps you maintain the posture. 5Amazing GraceMy son broke his collar bone last week at football practice and urgent care gave him a sling. which left him immobilized from using his writing hand. after researching i came across this brace and ordered it. needless to say my son loves it and prefers this brace over that sling any day. it has reduced his pain significantly and he feels free wearing it as he is not limited in using his dominant hand. I sprained my Sternoclavicular joint and this thing takes the pressure off it and makes it feel like it will heal faster. It also feels like it is relieving some pressure I've felt between my shoulder blades in my upper back by improving my poster there. Soft, fairly comfy. The only thing is the instructions say to wear it at night, but I tried and couldn't relax enough to sleep with it. 5Didnt fit right to support my injuryI bought as a brace to support my clavicle while recovering from a shoulder separation injury. For ref, I bought a M and I'm 5'9, ~157 lb, proportional breadth of shoulders. It is kind of awkward getting on and off by myself but that I managed so that wasn't a huge issue. It just didn't fit right though. It was the correct size, but the shoulder straps are *really wide* and just didn't have the strong support I needed to hold my clavicle in place, it just felt like they were resting on my shoulders where I needed some downward pressure. Maybe for someone with a bigger build or in need of less support it'd be fine, but this didn't work for my injury. 2Must have for broken clavicle!!!If you have a broken collarbone and you're debating whether or not to get this, STOP! GET IT!! The hospital sent me home with a regular ol'Micky Mouse sling. No comfort from pain whatsoever. Once I put this brace on, it was immediate relief and almost immediate (limited) mobility! Night and day difference. It's so relieving that you can almost forget you're injured for a few moments throughout your day. Only downfall is that someone has to help you put it on and take it off and adjust it. Which you will need to do about halfway throughout the day. It stretches a bit everyday from using it. I machine wash it and hang it to dry in front of a fan overnight and have no problems as well. Enjoy your brace. 5Works.Bought for fractured clavicle. Relatively easy and pain free to get on. Provided good support. After a few washes started to break down. Only needed it for a few weeks anyway. 4Brace Yourself !!! In Comfort!! Relieve Pain!Unfortunately I did it good. A rare posterior sternoclavicular dislocation on left shoulder. Sucked hard. Bone went in towards throat. After hospital they send you home in a lil thang that call support. This brace is the best thing I could have been blessed with. For not being comfortable this soft wide comfortable brace is washable. You will sleep better at night. Hope you heal Good neck support as well. Adjustable for shoulders. 5
