Pretty color and style, but not functionalI've used the blue plastic Neil Med Neti Pot for years with great success, but it got broken in a move, so thought I'd try something new. I was attracted to this one, because it was ceramic, and a pretty light green color and style. However, I tried it at least a dozen times over the course of a year, and I could never get it to work. First of all, the spout is really large, and felt uncomfortable. Second, the water flowed really slowly, due to the angle of the spout, and didn't get enough momentum to pass though. Finally, if I tilted the pot up to try to speed the flow, water would pour out of the top into my face (since there is no lid). I finally gave up and ordered the Neil Med blue ceramic pot -- much faster flow, and worked great the first time, plus, it has a lid to prevent spilling.1Great designThis is the only neti pot I've used and I have no desire to try another; this one is very nice. It has good weight to it and feels smooth with no rough spots or blemishes. The color is a little weird... sort of a super pale greenish in certain light and otherwise off-white... but that doesn't matter. It rinses clean and the handle is not hollow, thank goodness. It holds about a cup of liquid. The opening at the top is a good size... it doesn't spill out the top when I'm using it. And most importantly, the spout is nice and thick so it presses against the rim of my nostrils. Others I've seen are skinny, I can't imagine trying to create a seal with those. This one is comfortable and I've never had it leak around my nostril when using it. I absolutely recommend this pot.5Love the easily sanitized ceramic!I bought this Neti pot after my old plastic one from a big box store started falling apart. I have been dealing with a chronic sinus infection and this little Neti pot is indispensable for my daily nasal hygiene. I wanted one that was not plastic and could be thoroughly sanitized, and I also wanted one with a solid handle as my old plastic one had a hollow handle which was impossible to clean. This Neti pot seems to be high quality, it is dishwasher safe (huge plus). I am only knocking off one star because of the size of the tip (a bit too large for me) and the angle of the spout, which is not quite as easy to maneuver as my last Neti pot without some spillage.4A great replacement for my original neti potI was heartbroken when my first neti pot, which I owned for many years, did not survive in a suitcase on a trip to Germany. Try as I might, I could not find one just like it online. This pot came the closest, although it is a little more stout than my original, sleek neti pot. I must say that it works wonderfully, just as well as my first pot, although it feels bulkier in my hand. The fit/seal in my nostril is good, water releases well, and there is no hollow handle that might collect problems over use.5... this for a few months now and I really love it! The product works, you pour water in one nostril and it comes out the other, but dear god i hate this thing, I hate Neti pots, it's nothing against this product, this just feels like low rent waterboarding.So I broke this out of it's box and used it, and it did everything physically it's supposed to do (pour water into your nose) the pot itself is cute and seemed to hold less water then I expected, but then I'm not sure how much you'd really need and it is refillable so.seriously, who came up with this idea, are they still alive? I love that it's compact and easy to clean. I did a bit of research online first and this one was recommended because of the fact it dries out best, a huge selling point for me. I quickly wash it out and leave it upside down and all parts dry. No secret niches or crevices where water gets stuck, or keeps moisture. it's small but sturdy, I don't feel like it'll break anytime soon. I traded in my plastic one to a more sustainable option, great purchase.5Perfect Neti PotI have used a ceramic neti pot for years, but the one that looks more like a genie should pop out of it (lower profile, standard vs this one that's more like a small tea pot) Anyway, it finally had a long palpable crack along the bottom so decided it was time to buy a new one before the bottom broke off. I was surprised by how many choices there were in the Neti Pot world. Did my usual thorough research. Was absolutely only looking for ceramic/porcelain. This Neti Pot checks all of the boxes: Size, material, color(pale light green), shape, ease of use/ergonomics, flow rate, tidiness (water doesn't come shooting out willy nilly), solid handle/handle shape and size. I am so pleased with it and am glad my old one broke. This one is far superior. There is no negative!!! 5 STARS!!! Definitely get this. I would give as a gift!5Easy to clean, easy to use, solid handleI am new to using a neti pot, and wanted to try one because of frequent sinus infections. Originally, I wanted one that was unbreakable, but the plastic ones all seem to have hollow handles. I wanted one with a solid handle, because I didn't want to risk mold growing in the handle. In the end, I'm very happy with this neti pot. I think it's easy to clean and easy to use. I mix distilled water and a SinuCleanse saline packet in it and then I microwave the neti pot for 30 seconds. Very happy with this purchase.5Not microwave safeWhile the Q+A says this is microwave safe, the product exploded after 20 seconds in the microwave. I enjoy the other features of this pot, but to state it is microwave safe is incorrect.4
