Could be phenomenal, still good thoughI like it! I wish there were several different sizes with this exact design. I used this for my elbow/forearm and its kinda tough because it slides around and doesn't strap tight enough. But it is the best thing i have found so I dont have to law stagnant in a bed with an ice pack. I can do stuff while this is on, and i require that. thank you! 4It is well made.I like the most that the strap holds securely to your back. I like the least that the heat does not stay as long as I would like it to, overall it's a great hot cold pack. 5feels great on my sore back when I have to be ...PROS....feels great on my sore back when I have to be at work, not only provides hot & cold but a bit of compression as well.CON....Only reason I didn't give this a five star rating is because the strap is a little short for my rotund 40" abdomen (although it still goes around it) 4Helped my back!I had originally bought this product to help me with my cramps. When I received it, I was having back aches so I hated it up, and placed it on my back, it definitely helped! I heated it in the microwave for about 40 seconds and it was nice and warm. But as the package says, start off with 30 seconds in case your microwave is stronger than mine. Haven't placed it in the fridge yet, but I'm sure it workworks just as well. It will probably just take longer to cool than 30 seconds. 5Great for as long as the product lasted!Had this for just over a year and I use it often. It is great to have a portable way to ice my neck. I store it in a ziploc bag in the freezer. Today there was goo on the inside of the bag and when I took it out, i noticed that the insides were seeping out. At this point, I feel like I should still get a refund, but probably will not be the case. Great product for as long as it worked/before it fell apart. 1Do Not Over Heat!I have ongoing issues with my knee. I bought this primarily for heat use. I was somewhat disappointed that it did not stay hot longer. My niece used it for cold therapy, and was very happy with it. I didn't try securing with the straps, as it laid nicely on my knee. Word to the wise:. Do NOT overheat! I decided to try microwaving for longer to keep it heated for longer. The result, the seam split, and hot gel seeped out. Since I did not follow timing directions, I blame myself for the leak. I read reviews of many products. None seem to stay hot long.There is one that does 3Needs detachable strapWorks ok for cold an heat but strap no matter what you do does not work for elbows and knee securing as stated uses in description. Just plain too long without being removable. 2Works well. Using it nearly daily for a monthI bought this for some rotator cuff rehab and it has been really good. I like that it is long enough to cool the front, top and back of my shoulder but then again, I m only 5 4 . I do wish it were wider to get the side as well but that s not such a big deal with my particular injury. The Velcro strap is helpful 4Wet, overly cold, and made w/plastic outside.I had been borrowing a cold belt from a friend, it had a cloth covering. It was great, and not overly freezing like this one is. This one is so cold I have to put it over my fleece shirt. And because there isn't an outer layer of material, just plastic, it sweats water while it is defrosting on me. So sitting with it on in a chair, the chair is pretty wet after while. I do NOT recommend this belt at all. 1IT WORKS !!!!!What I really like is the flexibility of this ice pack vs the solid blocks of ice of others. I've used it only as an ice pack so far and it really holds the cold well for a lengthy time. I only wish it came with a cloth cover that fit it, rather than having to find something that doesn't work well. 5
