Very easy to installVery easy to install. Take literally about 2 minutes. I did NOT have to remove existing toilet seat. I purchased the 4" when I had my right hip replaced and was dreading how terrible a raised toilet seat would make my bathroom look. It actually does NOT look that bad...and I chose this one because I wanted a LID. The lid can be sat on (I weigh about 110 pounds)...but am reluctant to STAND on it.I recovered from total hip surgery within about 2 weeks and really don't have to have this raised toilet seat anymore. However, it is so comfortable and easy to clean etc., I am leaving it on until about the 4-month mark. And, I'll save it for the time I will likely to have other ballet/gymnastics joints replaced. THANK GOD for modern surgical techniques. Otherwise I'd be in a wheelchair instead of back on the ski slopes. Thank you God. 5Raised Toilet SeatHave bought others and I was unhappy with all of them. I had surgery and could not put weight on my foot. My toilet is real low to the floor so I needed to add height. I found this one on Amazon liked that it screwed on to the toilet bowl and had a cover so I ordered it and I love it. So easy to put on and cleans up so nice. I ordered another one for my elderly mother. 5Toilet Lift seat Really Functional.Illness caught us by surprise and wife too weak, bathroom too narrow, toilet too low and myself too weak to get her off normal toilet. Two things you need is this toilet seat no other.. This one) and a "Gait Belt (Hospital had)" that goes around waist and has grip handles on back to help lift or stable a person. . This seat looks terrific, shape is perfect. Be sure you get the sloping one. Fit s perfect. Our toilet is the lowest regular toilet and bowl sold at the leading store. This seat feels great and really really took away my stress I was left with. I can now, with little help, get my wife up. THANK YOU" "THANK YOU" 5It didn t work for me but please readThis is made of hard plastic and latches onto your toilet. You cannot use it over a lid. It has a lid. It provides about four inches of height which was great on my arthritic knees. My problem was that the opening wasn t very big and became uncomfortable. 3Just what I had been looking for.I wanted a seat which would only be 2" high but most of them are 4". I also wanted a cover and did not need handles. I mean, who wants a toilet seat without a cover? This seat is perfect. It was super easy to install. My husband probably took all of five minutes to do it. It took him longer to remove the old toilet seat. It is very comfortable and now my toilet is the perfect height for me. I have never had any issues with it feeling loose or squirrely. Once my nightgown caught on one of the screw handles and pulled the seat up when I rose. A simple push back down into place and all was well. We have a round or standard shape toilet and it fits perfectly. 51 Big negative!The big negative for me and, I'm sure, anyone who might sit on this seat is the curvature of the seat back. It is shaped opposite the way it should be. A large, outward curve of the hard plastic presses into the spine of the sitter. Very uncomfortable.I can't fathom what they were thinking. Perhaps the seat back has been installed backwards. Wish I could re-install the seat back correctly. Looks like the curvature might be comfortable with the back reversed. I had to make a cushion to fit over the back to make sitting bearable.Just installed it, seems very secure, so far. Nice smooth surface. Using only gentle, non scouring cleaning products should keep this looking good for a long time. Works to help my husband rise.Gwen 3Aquasense Raised Toilet Seat riser helped hip pain.Helps with low, low toilets when traveling. We go away two weeks a year to same condo/time share. Used this eat riser and helped tremendously reduce hip pain. Enjoyed vacation so much better while in less hip pain. Fit on seat of original round toilet seat, no problem. 5Worth Every Penny!I got this seat to help my wife, who has severe spinal stenosis, and is awaiting surgery. She was finding getting up from our loo extremely painful, so after using a toilet which we discovered was about an inch higher than ours, and being in less pain, I decided to get this seat to see if it would help, and it certainly has. From the first day she said she doesn't experience anywhere near as much pain in her back when sitting down or getting up. To think that this inexpensive purchase has provided my wife with such relief from her pain makes it totally worth every penny. 5Correct higth, not Verry rugged,Securing screws slip and allow it to move, clips that holds lid on broke, , correct height, for my mother, who needs it, price for value, is good enough. Easy to cleanCould stand a bit of re-engineering, to make securing screws easier and user friendly. I often find the right screw clamp on the floor where mom dropped it while tightening cause it turns the wrong wayRegret to change review to two stars after using almost three months, it's just two unstable for a 84 year old women to use regularly... I was asked to get a different one as mom is not happy with it... price was good but engeneering was not... 2I love that it had a lid on it so the ...I just got this as I had two knee replacements done last week. I love that it had a lid on it so the cats would not slide in. HOWEVER DO NOT BY THIS!!!!! I tried to fit on my bowl it didn't ft I tried to add little rubber feet to my toilet bowl to hold the seat that didn't work and now they won't take it back I'm not impressed with this product at all!!!! 1
