Truly Tasty Bunnies.I loved these snacks. They're quite sweet and seem to almost melt in your mouth like firm gummy jello. This pack comes all taped together, so you'll be able to slowly segregate them into packs for various people, and each box is a good amount for a few weeks.About the only thing that I didn't like in this product was the 'natural flavoring' ingredient. I am one of those odd characters that studies up on ingredient lists, and the only thing objectionable to me was the 'natural flavoring' label. It turns out that this could be any sort of chemical, as long as it came from a natural source. To quote a Google search that I found:The definition of natural flavor under the Code of Federal Regulations is: the essential oil, oleoresin, essence or extractive, protein hydrolysate, distillate, or any product of roasting, heating or enzymolysis, which contains the flavoring constituents derived from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material, meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, dairy products, or fermentation products thereof, whose significant function in food is flavoring rather than nutritional (21CFR101.22).Not a major issue for me, but as someone who likes to read the ingredient lists, and looks into natural and organic foods on a lark I found it interesting.5A spectacular alternative to other "fruit" snacksMy family first became hooked on Annie's products when we tried the delicious mac and cheese. I've been on something of a crusade to eliminate high fructose corn syrup from our diets, as well as unsavory chemical preservatives. My five-year-old has always been a big fan of fruit snacks but I normally hate giving them to her as they are no healthier than candy.While I won't claim that these are 100% healthy, I can say that they are completely free of all the artificial and highly processed junk that goes into their cheaper counterparts. Yes, they are pricier than other "fruit" snacks on the market but the higher price tag on these comes along with higher quality. I'm more than willing to shell out the extra cash if it means that my daughter will be ingesting fewer chemicals and less corn syrup.What's more, my daughter not only loves the taste of these, I do as well. Other brands have a very artificial too-sweet flavor while these taste like real fruit juice. I was surprised at how good they are as I normally avoid fruit snacks because of the taste. I also like the texture of these. They are chewy but smoother and will dissolve in your mouth if you suck on them. They don't have that weird hardness or lumpy sort of quality that other fruit snacks do.5Annie's Natural and Organic Bunny Fruit, Berry PatchMade with real fruit, no additives or preservatives, free from HFCS and other things like gluten, and organic. This is what drew me to these first.I like gummy candy, but most are made with HFCS, which I am cutting out of my diet. I also like my gummy candy to taste like the item it is 'flavored' with. My cherry should not taste like strawberry. This product delivers.These bunnies are smaller than regular gummy bears, but there are so many in each package it is hard to miss the size difference. The actual size of the bunnies are in the corner of the front of the box. Also, the bunnies are not covered in sugar or cornstarch to keep them from sticking, but they do not stick to my hands while I eat them (plus).I also find Amazon's price hard to beat for 4 boxes. I do watch for it on sale, both here and other places, for comparison.If you are switching to a more natural based diet, Annie's is a great brand. A quick switch is hard to make, so change one small thing at a time.I hope you enjoy this product as much as I do.5I WANT MY OLD BUNNIES BACK! - The company has CHANGED THE FORMULA for their RECIPE! I said TRY THESE! - she did and smiled - OMG these are wonderful! She is now buying them too.The nice thing - they are Organic and no food coloring! read ingredients! My sister has diabetes and said the sugars in these are not that bad either for her diabetes. Inferior product and price increase!2Not the sameI looked to leave feed back on the order, but that was not possible on this order for some reason. I did not receive the strawberry. I received a summer citrus or something similar. Still good quality, and plenty of time before expiration. Just check the package to make sure they pull the right thing for your order.3Good snack foodFirst, I'm not an "organic" food expert. Far from it, in fact. But recently, I decided to try out some healthier food choices, and that is how I came across Annie's Homegrown Berry Patch Organic Bunny Fruit Snacks. There's been one thing driving my recent food purchases, and that's something my "Principles of Nutrition" professor in college said: "always eat food as close to its source as possible". Where possible, it's preferential to eat food that was grown / raised geographically close to you. Also, eating food "close to its source" means eating food in a form close to how it is found in nature (i.e., not overly processed).While I hold no illusions that these Fruit Snacks are in any way a "health food", I think compared to their competition, they are way ahead, both in quality of ingredients, and in taste. The "berry" description of the taste is accurate, in my opinion. I find that they have a great balance of fruit-tartness, along with the perfect amount of sweetness. They are certainly not overly sweet like many snacks. The texture of these snacks seems a bit "stickier" than some of the more mainstream competitors, and perhaps less "gummy". I don't find this offensive, and have grown to prefer it, really.As for the cost - yes, these are expensive. When you first see the relatively small individual serving bag, you might think you got ripped off. But these Fruit Snacks are extremely satiating, and even though you may have only eaten a relatively small amount, you end up satisfied, and full.Given the cost, you might not be able to justify eating these every day, but I'd have no problem recommending these as a treat to have a few times a week. Great taste, a seemingly decent set of ingredients, and a decent increase in quality vs. the competition.5The price is right!Our family has a sweet tooth and we are very partial to Annie's. We order the different flavors via the subscribe & save option, and we save compared to buying it at our local commissary. One pack retails for $3.99 at the commissary, but with subscribe & save we pay under $15 for a pack. Needless to say, they don't last long around our house. The small packages are the perfect snack size for kids and adults alike. They are not as sweet as Haribo's Gummi Bears and they taste a lot better too. They dissolve faster, which is in my opinion a big plus because kids don't have them in their mouth all that long, i.e. the teeth are not exposed to sugar as long as they are with other sweets, like hard candy.The strawberry and tropical flavors are even cheaper.5Love the munchy... hated the packaging!I don't remember my last batch of these coming like this batch. It's a good deal instead of purchasing in stores, although I added it up and it's only slightly better deal and wouldn't be if I had to pay shipping. These are an ingenious way to get your 100 percent vitamin C per day, however, if you have quite a bit of dental work, you may not care for gummys very much as they tend to stick to teeth. I love them, but wonder how I can possibly be spending this much on small packages that have 12 little gummys each in them. I'm just saying. I must love them, right? Well, really close to that. Yum. I had to go open a package and am chewing them into juicy matter. I love, love, love the taste. So, why don't they get five stars? Well, I'm not sure who's fault it is, because, like I said, it didn't happen last order... Someone decided to wrap my boxes with tape that pulls the bunny art right off the boxes... now, am I gonna feel like sharing this little box with my massage therapist or her daughter or am I going to think twice about it cause it looks as if it came from some mark-down-all-items place... Guess I'll have to eat them all myself! oh, how said do you think I am about that? Well, I think I can manage this problem this time, but I hope that that person who did that to my boxes won't be handling my boxes several months from now when I reorder... I'm going to have to delay my next purchase because I won't have been able to share and I can't possibly let myself eat all these luscious chewy nibbles in a hurry... must savor the flavor... oh, I can give away small packages? Who would think of that? Oh, alrighty... I will just have to break down and give a few small sacks away.... but not today. Can't you tell I am recommending these?4Made From Magical Nectar Straight from Mount OlympusI just returned from a year-long trip that took me around the jungles and beaches of Papua New Guinea, and this product was part of my pack. I bought enough of these packs so that I could have 1 pouch every few days. I can't even begin to describe how tasty these little rabbits were while on a diet of mostly starch and coconuts for a year. They didn't just taste great, they tasted GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT! I'm talking Tony the Tiger, eat your cornflakes, kind of great. I almost cried when I ate my last bag and still had a few weeks to go before heading home. That's how good these things are.On a more serious note, they pack well and can stand the heat without melting in a glob of goo. If you backpack and have a sweet tooth, take these with you. They'll save your life.5Great vegan snack!!These are delicious and made from great ingredients!! I love gummies but since moving towards a plant based diet, I feared that I'd never be able to enjoy gummies again. I am so happy that I discovered Annie's brand bunny fruit snacks as thet are listed as Vegan!! They have an amazing chewy consistency and the fruit flavors are out of this world! I am sad every time I get to the last one in the package, haha. So good, plant based, and all organic!5
