Holds a ice pack perfectly while supporting your backI spent 10 days in the hospital. Probably could have skipped that if I had this belt then. I rate it 6 stars and made me able to enjoy life again. One of best investments I have ever made.5Works perfect!So far this has been great! My son needed it to have some back support for Drumline. It s comfortable and provides the support he needs. Plus the bonus cold pack helps to keep him cool on the hot days of marching band.5It works - very well. For real.I use this product to help relieve pain from chronic lower back pain which I have suffered from for years.I love this belt. I feel immediate relief as soon as I put it on. I keep it on all day. The only problem I can foresee is if a time would come when u need to use the facilities in a hurry. Until u r used to putting this on with the velcro. I am getting used to it so less problems each and every time.YES I AM YELLING. IF U HAVE CHRONIC VACK PAIN AND CRAVE RELIEF THEN TRY THIS BELT. !!!.5In loveI ve received my back brace today, and its so awesome!!! Thanks a million5YES, just what the doctor ordered!Thoughtfully designed, sturdy lumbar brace that has a center pocket for the extra support pad or heat/cold pack which are both included! Having degenerative back disease, I'm working to avoid lumbar joint fusion surgery. It is also good to note that anyone who is short, short-waisted and/or has a hour-glass shaped body, like me, may have some frustration maintaining the initial position of the brace; not sure how that can be avoided. SIZING: As instructed, I measured myself, 47 inches, and ordered the L/XL. This is the upper end of that size, but the velcro is holding OK for me. Thanks for having a great product!5DisappointedI fall into the L category but since sizing includes XL the brace is pretty long. It also runs too wide vertically, so much so that it creates a open pocket top center of back that I am unable to tighten. On day two, the Velcro is no longer holding the outer belt, so it flaps/falls down. That was quick!I relied heavily on reviews; unfortunately, this did not work well for me. Not a satisfactory purchase and hope a return is not at my expense.2Very supportive for plus size.I am a big girl. I wear size 3x and have a lot of stomach. I was worried it wouldn t fit me, that it wouldn t go all around me and/or the Velcro would pop open as I walked or did any movement. However I was pleased to discover it fit me perfectly and I am able move and it really helps me protect my lower back from any strain from twisting or bending. I received it this morning and have used it on and off all day. I definitely felt the difference every time I took it off. I felt heavier with no support. With this support I am able to exercise and tolerate a little more.The cold/hot pack is a great feature. I ve only used it cold so far and I love it.5True miracleMy husband went to ER with lumbar pain so severe he couldn t walk. Their answer - give him narcotics and follow up with his doctor! He left doped up but still severely disabled. I ordered this brace to see if he could get relief (was using ice pack but keeping it in position was a challenge) and support (diagnosed with degenerative and herniated discs). This item is a Godsend! He s using it every time he s up and he was able to return to work! Very comfortable and the support insert is perfect as well as the ice pack! Highly recommend5This product is great for back support.I suffer with back issues. From the time I put it on, I could tell that it was going to do what I expected. I definitely would recommend.5Not suitable for petite womenThis would be great if it only fit right. When sitting it digs into my thighs & actually is painful because it is hard & does not give, also digs up past my ribcage and into underneath my breast. I needed this so badly & couldn't wait for it to arrive. Now am afraid will have to return. I am a petite woman of 5' now ( was always 5'4 1/2" before the horrible back problems). So now I guess, they tell me I should be ordering everything in petite sizes & still cannot get used to it.3
