I couldn't wear them just resting inside the shoe as the front edge of the cup felt like a lumpI'm a nurse and an on my feet literally all day, and a I run 3-4 x per week. My right heel stated hurting after getting new work shoes. I thought they had enough support as they're the same as my running shoes. I bought the heel cups hyping they would help. They're bigger and harder then I thought. I couldn't wear them just resting inside the shoe as the front edge of the cup felt like a lump. I put the cup under the insole that came with the shoe, and that helped. The cups are thick and I had to relace my shoes to snug up around my heel, otherwise the shoes slipped. Overall, my heel irritation has improved after 3-4 wks, but has not resolved. For the price, the heel cups are good, and more affordable than many others. You also get 2 pair. 3I ordered these for my son, age 8, ...I ordered these for my son,age 8, who was having pain in his heels during soccer practice. We put these in his soccer cleats and he no longer has any pain in his heels! Comes with 2 sets of pads. I was only expecting on set! 5Way too big and they stick to the socksMy child found them uncomfortable, way too big and they stick to her socks. The upper edges curve in and the insert is thick at the edges, so it is uncomfortable. 2Good solution and works as advertizedJust received these and my daughter has been using them in her soccer cleats for about a week. They fit her size 2 shoe fine and seem to help her heel pain some, but too early to tell if it will be a long term solution. The one recommendation i would have is to make the adhesive on the bottom stronger as the current adhesive mainly acts as a slip guard. The insoles can be removed and moved, but seem to stay in place during games and practice. 4UncomfortableI wanted to love these heel cups since I am an active senior with small shoe size and need extra cushioning. But I should ve listened to the reviewer who cautioned that the drop-off transition from the heel cup was uncomfortable. I thought I could get used to it or put the gel cup under the shoe insole but no, it is still too uncomfortable and noticeable. Can t think of a fix for it. Be aware. 1NOT a Heel CupFit my 9-yo shoes, but they were really uncomfortable for him. Gave the 2nd pair to my friend, a man. They fit his shoes/feet, but also very uncomfortable. Both recipients threw them away after a day of attempted use.This product is NOT a "heel cup". It is a wedge, with slightly upturned edges. The wedge is so thick it is like wearing a shoe with heels on it, and it severely changes the angle and balance of your foot. Completely the opposite of what a person wants when they already have plantar fasciitis.I would stay away from these and go with a gel-heel orthotic or standard Dr. Scholls heel cups which have much, much less "rise" to them. 2Very helpful!These are very helpful to my daughter who has plantar fasciitis. She has some shoes that her orthotics dont fit in and these help her to tolerate those shoes. My mother also likes them for her high heel shoes to provide more comfort so I ordered her some as well. 5Not as good as I thoughtWhen I purchased these I thought that they would help my son. However since purchasing them my son has complained more and said that they do not help. I think for some people they might work but for others they might not. Given the price they are worth a try. 2Gave the extra boost we needed!These are just what I was looking for! My 3.5 yo is 39 and 3/4 inches tall and we're going to Disneyland soon. We hoped he would grow just a little more but he hasn't.We got these to make up the difference, and with both pairs in his high top shoes he went from 39.75 to about 41 inches!So if that's why you're buying these, they worked for us! My son wears a size 8 shoe and these fit with no issue. He can also walk, run, jump, and play with them in.Disneyland here we come! 5These were good, they fixed my son's heal issuesThese were good, they fixed my son's heal issues.
